What is uterine worm disease?

We all know that the female uterus is a relatively sacred part, because there is a chance for a new life to be conceived in the female uterus, so the uterus is particularly important to women. The uterus can determine whether a woman can become a mother. Many women will be careful to protect their uterus, but sometimes they will still be infected by uterine worm disease. So what is uterine worm disease?

Basic content

1. Uterine fibroids

Uterine fibroids, also known as uterine leiomyoma, are the most common benign tumors of the female reproductive system. Most cases are asymptomatic, while a few may present with vaginal bleeding, abdominal masses, and compression symptoms. If pedicle torsion or other situations occur, it may cause pain, which is common in multiple uterine fibroids.

2. Ovarian cyst

Ovarian cysts are a type of ovarian tumor in a broad sense. They can occur in people of all ages, but are most common in women aged 20-50. Ovarian tumors are common tumors of the female reproductive system and have various properties and morphologies, namely: single or mixed type, unilateral or bilateral, cystic or solid, benign or malignant. Among them, cystic tumors are more common and have a high degree of malignant transformation. Early diagnosis is difficult.

70% of them are in the advanced stage and rarely receive early treatment. The 5-year survival rate always hovers around 20-30%, making it one of the most serious malignant tumors threatening women's lives.

3. Pelvic inflammatory disease

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) refers to inflammation of the female upper reproductive tract and its surrounding tissues, mainly including endometritis, salpingitis, tubo-ovarian abscess (TOA), and pelvic peritonitis. Inflammation can be limited to one part or affect several parts at the same time. The most common ones are salpingitis and salpingo-oophoritis. Pelvic inflammatory disease mostly occurs in sexually active, menstruating women. It rarely occurs in women before menarche, after menopause or unmarried people. If pelvic inflammatory disease occurs, it is often the spread of inflammation to adjacent organs. It can be divided into acute and chronic types according to its course of disease and clinical manifestations.

4. Cervicitis

Cervicitis is a common disease among women of childbearing age and can be either acute or chronic. Acute cervicitis often coexists with acute endometritis or acute vaginitis, but chronic cervicitis is more common. The main manifestation is increased leucorrhea, which is thick mucus or purulent mucus, sometimes accompanied by or mixed with blood. Long-term chronic mechanical stimulation is the main cause of cervicitis. In this case, gel treatment is the best option.

Five: adnexitis

Among the female internal reproductive organs, the fallopian tubes and ovaries are called uterine appendages. Adnexitis refers to inflammation of the fallopian tubes and ovaries. However, fallopian tube and oophoritis are often accompanied by parametrial connective tissue inflammation and pelvic peritonitis, and it is difficult to distinguish them during diagnosis. Therefore, pelvic peritonitis and parametrial connective tissue inflammation are also classified as adnexitis. Among pelvic organ inflammations, salpingitis is the most common. Due to the proximity of anatomical sites, salpingitis, oophoritis, and pelvic peritonitis often occur simultaneously.

6. Vaginitis

Vaginitis is an inflammation of the vaginal mucosa and submucosal connective tissue and is a common disease in gynecological clinics. Normal healthy women, due to anatomical and biochemical characteristics, have a natural defense function against the invasion of pathogens in the vagina. At this time, Dr. Li's gel can be used. When the natural defense function of the vagina is destroyed, pathogens can easily invade and cause vaginal inflammation. Young girls and postmenopausal women lack estrogen, have a thin vaginal epithelium, reduced intracellular glycogen content, and a vaginal pH of around 7. Therefore, the vaginal resistance is low and they are more susceptible to infection than adolescents and women of childbearing age.

Seven: Cervical erosion

Cervical erosion is not an independent disease, but a manifestation of other chronic cervicitis, and it is serious. Cervical erosion is not actually true erosion. When the epidermis of the external cervical os is shed and replaced by another epithelial tissue of the cervical os, the new epithelium covering the surface is thin or even precious. You can see that the blood vessels and red tissue below look like real erosion, so it is called cervical erosion.
