Safety and health are the wishes of everyone, but now due to various factors, non-gonococcal urethritis continues to break out, and the number of female patients is quite large. This disease has brought great harm to the health of the majority of female patients. So, what are the symptoms of non-gonococcal urethritis in women? Some people are still unclear about non-gonococcal urethritis. Please see the introduction below. Non-gonococcal urethritis is a syndrome with multiple causes, and the pathogens are mostly chlamydia, mycoplasma, Trichomonas, herpes virus, Candida, etc. 30% to 50% of non-gonococcal urethritis is related to Chlamydia trachomatis, 20% to 30% is caused by ureaplasma urealyticum infection, and 10% is caused by microorganisms such as Trichomonas vaginalis, Candida albicans, herpes simplex virus, Mycoplasma genitalium, adenovirus and Bacillus. Chlamydia and mycoplasma have weak resistance to the external environment and can be killed by heating at 56 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes. Commonly used disinfectants such as formalin, Lysol, and carbolic acid can also easily kill them. Clinical manifestations of non-gonococcal urethritis: 1. Typical symptoms include urethral itching, accompanied by urinary urgency, pain and difficulty urinating, but the symptoms are milder than those of gonococcal urethritis. 2. When not urinating for a long time or before the first urination in the morning, a small amount of mucous secretion may come out of the anus, sometimes only manifested as a scab seal or dirty crotch. A considerable number of people may not have any symptoms. 3. Male patients may develop epididymitis. Female patients are not as typical as male patients. Many patients may be asymptomatic. They may generally suffer from urethritis, mucopurulent cervicitis, acute pelvic inflammatory disease and infertility. Since some patients with non-gonococcal urethritis may have no symptoms, the onset is slow, and the symptoms are atypical, they are easily misdiagnosed or missed during the initial diagnosis. Therefore, for patients with urethritis, the following points should be noted: ① The patient has a history of unclean sexual life, and the incubation period is generally 1-3 weeks. ② For asymptomatic patients, first determine whether they have urethritis and then differentiate it from gonorrhea; ③ Take secretions for Gram staining to rule out the possibility of gonorrhea. When 10 to 15 neutrophils can be seen under high-power vision and there are no Gram-negative diplococci, it is suspected to be non-gonococcal urethritis; ④ Immunofluorescence or enzyme immunoassay to check for Chlamydia trachomatis or culture method to check for Ureaplasma urealyticum, and positive results can be diagnosed. What are the symptoms of non-gonococcal urethritis in women? When there are symptoms such as urgency, pain, difficulty in urination, secretions from the urethra, etc., female friends should be alert and go to a regular hospital for scientific examination in time. These may be symptoms of non-gonococcal urethritis in women. For this stubborn disease, early treatment means early relief. |
