Abdominal pain after fallopian tube closure

Abdominal pain after fallopian tube closure

Radiography is another way to check for blocked fallopian tubes in women. Many women have not gotten pregnant after a period of marriage. A large part of the reason is that both sides of the fallopian tubes are blocked. Radiography can be performed as soon as possible to find problems in both sides of the fallopian tubes. However, some women have abdominal distension and pain after radiography. What causes this?

Let's first understand the actual operation method of thrombi. After the patient's vagina is dilated, the soft tube is filled with iodized oil and the iodized oil is introduced into the patient's uterus and bilateral fallopian tubes. Then X-rays are taken to observe the flow and location of iodized oil to determine which part of the fallopian tubes is blocked. During this process, the patient's body will inevitably experience some discomfort, and after the angiography, there may still be residual fluid in the uterus and bilateral fallopian tubes, which may easily cause abdominal distension and lower abdominal pain, which is also a normal situation.

Generally speaking, after angiography, side effects such as abdominal distension and pain will appear, which will disappear on their own after a period of time. In addition to these symptoms, some patients will experience symptoms such as palpitations, shortness of breath, and nausea. There are also very few patients who will experience some severe allergic symptoms due to their physical constitution. However, these situations are relatively rare. Generally speaking, these symptoms will disappear on their own after the patient rests for a period of time, and will not cause more serious side effects. However, if serious side effects occur after surgery or during the operation, the operation must be stopped immediately and treatment must be provided in time.

In short, abdominal distension and pain after angiography is a relatively common phenomenon. Some patients may also experience various symptoms such as palpitations, shortness of breath, and nausea and vomiting. These symptoms will disappear after rest and will not cause other side effects to the patients. Patients who undergo angiography must see a doctor as soon as possible if they experience more serious reactions after surgery.
