Care suggestions for gastrointestinal digestion in pregnant women

Various problems may arise during pregnancy. Some pregnant women may not eat well or sleep well, and may even experience acid reflux and heartburn, which are manifestations of gastrointestinal discomfort. Some pregnant women have a big appetite but really can never feel full. So what should we do in the face of these two extreme situations? Gastrointestinal digestive diseases are the most difficult to treat, and diet and exercise must work together to achieve the best results.

1. Start with your daily routine. At least three meals a day should be eaten at regular times and in regular quantities. It is best to set a schedule for yourself and then strictly adhere to it. This will also affect sleep time, because some people who go to bed late and get up late eat breakfast and lunch together. This habit must be changed. It does not mean that eating a midnight snack can make up for it, because although the human biological clock can move forward and backward, it is always within a certain range and cannot make much difference. If you don't believe it, you can look up some information about the human body's biological clock.

2. Generally, people with poor gastric digestion function will feel full after eating a little, and will feel bloated if they eat a little more. Especially if they eat more at night, the bloating in the stomach will affect their sleep. Hard, fibrous foods are difficult to digest. Therefore, it is recommended to eat small meals frequently. If it is not time for a main meal yet, you can supplement some food, but not too much. You must remember that this is not a main meal and you still have to eat your main meal as normal. The food should be soft and loose. It is not advisable to eat too much tough and refreshing food because these things are the most difficult to digest. It is best to drink soup before meals, as drinking it after meals will increase digestion difficulties. It is best not to eat two or three hours before going to bed, otherwise it will easily affect your sleep. If you feel hungry, drink more water.

3. People with stomach problems should quit smoking, drinking, coffee, strong tea, carbonated drinks (soda), spicy and sour foods, and other irritating foods, as these are the most harmful to the stomach. The stomach likes dryness and hates coldness, so cold drinks and ice cream must be avoided. Hot food is better. This is a test for everyone, especially in the hot summer season. There are two kinds of drinks that you should drink more of, one is milk, the other is hot water. Milk can form a protective film for the stomach. It is best to drink a glass of milk first thing in the morning before eating. Drink more water, especially hot water, because in most cases people will mistake dehydration for hunger.

4. Although soy milk is good, it is cold in nature and cannot replace milk.

5. Steamed buns can nourish the stomach, so you might as well try them as your staple food.

It is best for pregnant women to maintain a good attitude during pregnancy. Gastrointestinal diseases may also be caused by excessive tension or too much neglect of the existence of the child. Appropriate medication and exercise can help pregnant women solve these unnecessary troubles. Good health is what pregnant women want most, because after all, this is also the best for the child!
