Today's society is paying more and more attention to gynecological diseases. With the gradual increase in the incidence of various gynecological diseases, female friends are becoming more and more worried about their health. Gynecological diseases have various forms and pathologies. Vulvar diseases, vaginal diseases, uterine diseases, fallopian tube diseases, ovarian diseases, etc. are all common and frequent diseases. Gynecological tumors are also one of the more common gynecological diseases. The uterus is the organ that produces menstruation and nurtures the fetus. It is located in the center of the pelvic cavity, between the bladder and rectum. It is an organ unique to women. According to the latest modern medical research results, the uterus is the sixth organ of women, that is, women have six internal organs and six bowels. The size of the uterus is related to age and fertility. For nulliparous women, it is approximately 7.5 cm long, 5 cm wide, and 3 cm thick. The uterus can be divided into three parts: the fundus, the body, and the neck. The uterine cavity is an inverted triangle, about 6 cm deep, with two corners on the top, which are the "uterine horns" leading to the uterine tube. The narrow lower end is the "isthmus", which is about 1 cm long. Uterine adnexal cysts refer to cystic tumors of the fallopian tubes and ovaries. Ovarian cysts are the most common adnexal cysts in clinical practice. They can occur at any age, but most of them occur during the reproductive period. Generally speaking, if the diameter of the cyst is less than 5 cm and there is no evidence to suggest a tumor, it is most likely a functional cyst and can be followed up closely, that is, checked every 2-3 months and the intervals between checks adjusted based on the situation. If it shrinks or does not increase in size after 4-6 weeks, it is more likely to be a functional cyst. If the cyst continues to grow, especially larger than 5 cm, or if there is sudden paroxysmal colic in the lower abdomen, it may be a tumorous cyst or the cyst may have twisted or ruptured. It should be surgically explored to determine whether it is benign or malignant, and surgically removed if necessary. The uterus is a pear-shaped organ in a woman's body and it is our first warm home in this world. No matter you are in your 20s or 50s; no matter you are a man or a woman, be careful, there are some types of harm that are the most serious. Vaginitis, cervicitis, cervical erosion, fallopian tube inflammation, etc. Please do not underestimate these infections. |
