1. Pig's trotter porridge

Wash the pig's trotters, cut them into small pieces and boil them to make a thick soup; then boil the tongcao and loulu together to get the juice; cook the pig's trotter soup, the juice and glutinous rice into porridge, and when the porridge is almost done, add the scallion segments and cook for a while before eating.

2. Peanut and Pig’s Trotter Soup

Remove the hair and roast the skin of the pig's trotters, soak them and scrape them clean. Cut the pig's trotters in half and then cut them into 3 cm square pieces. Soak the peanuts in warm water and peel them. Chop the green onions and smash the ginger. Put a large pot on high heat, add clean water (2.5 kg), put in the pig's trotters, bring to a boil, remove all the floating foam, and put in the peanuts and ginger. When the pig's trotters are half cooked, move the pot to low heat, add salt and continue to simmer. After the pig's trotters are stewed, remove from the pot and put into a soup bowl, sprinkle with MSG and chopped green onions and serve;

3. Shrimp and Tofu

Wash and slice the green onion and ginger, remove the sand from the shrimps and set aside. Cut the tofu into pieces, boil it in water, drain out the water and set aside; put onion, ginger, salt, MSG, cooking wine, chicken broth, starch and sesame oil into a bowl and mix into juice. Put the shrimps in a bowl, add salt, cooking wine, half an egg, and mix well;

Pour oil into the wok, add shrimps after heating, add tofu and stir-fry after cooking. After evenly heated, add the juice in the bowl and stir-fry quickly so that the juice is completely covered on the surface of the ingredients. Put it on a plate and it is ready to eat. Tofu and shrimp used together can treat qi and blood deficiency, spleen and kidney yang deficiency, muscle and bone pain, and can also dredge the milk vessels and promote milk secretion. It is most suitable for postpartum women.

4. Steamed Crucian Carp with Red Ginseng

Remove the scales and internal organs of the crucian carp, wash it, and blanch it in boiling water. Wash the shrimp and red ginseng with warm water. Wash and slice the ham; put the crucian carp, red ginseng, ham slices and shrimps into a soup pot, add smashed ginger and scallions, pour in chicken soup, add a little salt, cover, and steam until done; pick out the ginger and scallions and add MSG when eating. Regular consumption can stimulate appetite, replenish energy, and is often used for postpartum women who lack milk.

5. Ejiao and Jujube Soup

Peel the walnuts and mash them for later use. Wash the jujubes, add appropriate amount of water, put them in a pot and cook until they are soft, filter out the skin and core with clean gauze, put them in another pot, add rock sugar and walnut kernels and simmer over low heat; at the same time, put donkey-hide gelatin in a bowl and steam it until it melts, then add it to the jujube and donkey-hide gelatin pot and cook it into a soup; take 2 to 3 tablespoons every morning after delivery, which has the effects of replenishing qi and blood, regulating the spleen and stomach, moisturizing dryness and nourishing yin; this medicinal soup is very effective for postpartum recovery, conditioning body functions, and promoting lactation for most mothers. It is especially effective for women who give birth in winter.
