In addition to morning sickness in the early stages of pregnancy, another common situation is that the pregnant woman's chest will begin to swell and ache. This is a normal phenomenon, but the degree of swelling and pain depends on the individual's physical condition.

Breast tenderness is one of the earliest signs of pregnancy, usually starting around 4 to 6 weeks and lasting throughout the early stages of pregnancy (the first 3 months of pregnancy). Generally, you can feel breast swelling one month after pregnancy, but not every pregnant woman will experience pain. After pregnancy, under the joint stimulation of estrogen and progesterone, at the beginning of pregnancy, the breasts gradually grow larger, the color of the nipples and areola deepens, and dark brown nodules appear around the nipples. After 12 weeks, a small amount of clear milk will be secreted.

Symptoms of early pregnancy usually appear around 40 days and include: cessation of menstruation; breast development, enlarged nipples, obvious veins under the skin of the breasts, possible tingling, swelling and itching of the breasts, and darkening of the nipples and areolas; gradual feeling of fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, regurgitation, loss of appetite, picky eating, preference for sour food, fear of greasy smells, and increased saliva secretion; frequent nausea and vomiting.

The body will undergo a series of reactions after pregnancy. This is mainly because the changes in the pregnant woman's body are to allow the fetus to grow better and to prepare for the breastfeeding period after the fetus is born. Therefore, pregnant women should pay attention to adequate rest during pregnancy, and also pay attention to supplementing their nutrition.
