Why does my breast ache when my period is delayed for one day?

Some female friends may wonder: Why does delayed menstruation cause breast pain? Let's take a closer look at the reasons why menstruation is delayed and accompanied by breast pain. In such a situation, women who have sex should first think of pregnancy, and the other reasons may be irregular menstruation or other reasons.

What causes breast pain during delayed menstruation?

It may be caused by the following three reasons:

The first is delayed menstruation accompanied by breast pain. Gynecologists say that it is normal for menstruation to be one week early or late, and women don't need to worry. As for breast pain, it is because when women are close to their menstrual period, the estrogen level increases, which promotes breast development, so they will feel breast pain.

The second type is the cessation of menstruation and the occurrence of breast pain. For this kind of situation, there is an 80% chance that you are pregnant. If a woman's menstruation has not stopped for more than ten days and she has similar pregnancy symptoms such as breast pain, urgency and frequency of urination, and high body temperature, it is best to go to the pharmacy immediately to buy a pregnancy test stick or early pregnancy test paper to check whether she is pregnant by testing the HCG component in the urine.

The third type is that you may not be pregnant, but if you do not have your period, you need to consider that it is caused by irregular menstruation. The symptoms of irregular menstruation include abnormalities in the color of menstrual blood, physiological cycle, menstrual volume, etc. The cause should be found out in time and treated actively, which will affect future fertility.
