Female hip asymmetry

Female hip asymmetry

We know that the structure of the human body is symmetrical. If any different situations occur, it is very likely that there is a problem with the human body. For example, some people have one higher thigh bone than the other. In fact, there are many reasons for this disease. Some people are born with unequal upper and lower legs, while others are caused by injuries. So let us discuss how to correct the problem of one higher thigh bone than the other.

How to correct one thigh bone being higher than the other

1. Exercise therapy

Exercise therapy is the preferred method for treating mild scoliosis for most people. Exercise therapy is pull-ups and breaststroke. Pull-ups use natural weight to suspend the body vertically, which helps to maintain the verticality of the spine. While breaststroke can correct the spine, it can also exercise the waist and back muscles and enhance the muscle's protective function on the spine. It is worth reminding that exercise therapy can only balance muscle energy and prevent the development of scoliosis. I think exercise therapy can only be used as an auxiliary method to treat scoliosis.

2. Electrotherapy

The mechanism of action is that electrical stimulation acts on the related muscle groups on the convex side of scoliosis, causing them to contract, thereby generating an essential corrective force on the scoliosis, making the related muscles on the convex side gradually become thicker and stronger than the concave side, thereby contracting and stretching the imbalance on both sides of the spine to achieve the correction purpose. It is mainly suitable for children and adolescents with mild refractory scoliosis, scoliosis angle less than 40 degrees, and patients with good organ function.

Three: traction therapy

It can increase the space between cones and separate the adhesion tissues, thus achieving the purpose of reduction. It can relax muscles and promote blood circulation, improve blood circulation, and soften soft tissues and tendons. It is suitable for patients with refractory scoliosis, and the effect is very good when the lateral curvature is 25-40 degrees.

Causes of one thigh bone being higher than the other

There are many reasons why one thigh bone is higher than the other. The most common one is the difference in length of the lower limbs. It also depends on whether there was any trauma in childhood. For example, damage to the epiphyseal line can also cause abnormal bone growth and lead to scoliosis. You can first measure the length of your two legs. You can measure the distance from the protruding bone on the inner thigh called the greater trochanter to the lateral malleolus (the protruding bones on both sides of the heel) and the femoral neck of the kneecap to the ankle or lateral malleolus. You also need to accurately measure the distance from the ankle to the ilium, so that you can basically understand your own condition.

I think that when the human body finds abnormal conditions, it must be taken seriously, the cause must be found and treatment must be given immediately. Many diseases can be cured in the early stages, but if they are delayed, they will turn into serious diseases, which is really painful. After all, we only have one body, and we must take good care of this body to live healthier and longer. This is naturally the best choice for ourselves.
