They have to drink a lot of water after dinner. They are too busy during the day to drink more water. They only have time to drink more water at night. However, drinking too much water can easily lead to edema. Many people find that their whole body is swollen when they wake up in the morning. What is the reason for women’s swelling?

1. What is the cause of general edema?

1. If the blood circulation system is not smooth, unnecessary waste and toxins in the body cannot be discharged in time, water will remain in the capillaries and even seep back into the skin, causing swelling and edema. This type of edema is prone to occur in people who are accustomed to drinking a lot of water before going to bed, standing up for a long time, sitting still for a long time, staying up late, and those with poor congenital blood circulation metabolism.

2. Edema caused by poor diet is classified as nutritional imbalance edema. Excessive intake of salt and vegetable oils in the diet will affect the metabolism of water and toxins in the human body, thereby causing body fat accumulation; and a single dietary structure makes the nutritional intake of food unbalanced, causing the body to lack some minerals and nutrients that are beneficial to metabolism, aggravating edema.

3. Women's physical constitution is inherently prone to edema, especially when women's endocrine imbalance and abnormal testosterone levels prevent the body from excreting unnecessary water. For example, excessive secretion of insulin glargine, adrenaline, and the female hormones progesterone and estradiol can cause edema. In addition, the misuse of therapeutic drugs will also increase the incidence of edema. Some medicines such as emergency contraception and painkillers can also change the level of testosterone in your body and prevent the excretion of water.

2. How to eliminate edema

1. Lightly press the area around the eye circles with your fingertips, press each area for about 5 seconds, and repeat 3 times. Due to the complex overlapping relationship between blood, qi, meridians, etc., there are many acupoints on the face and body. They can reflect whether the blood and qi are running smoothly. Frequent stimulation and pressing of these acupoints can improve the function of internal organs and eliminate edema.

2. After breakfast, drink a cup of pure coffee. After about 30 minutes to 1 hour, you will see the facial swelling subside. The caffeine contained in black coffee has the effect of diuresis, accelerating the consumption of body heat, so it can quickly eliminate facial swelling, especially for puffiness around the eyes.

3. Job's tears can accelerate metabolism and diuresis, drink a glass of Job's tears water every morning and night, and you will find that the swelling of your face is gone the next day.

4. Ethanol is the culprit that causes facial swelling and skin sagging in women. In addition, the calorie content of ethanol is also very high. A small glass of beer has 100 calories. If you drink a few bowls of it, it is equivalent to eating a few bowls of rice.

As can be seen from the above, edema all over the body may be caused by poor blood circulation or improper diet. For example, eating too much at night will affect the body's water content the next day, which will cause edema. Women are especially prone to edema.
