What are the symptoms and reactions before giving birth?

As the pregnancy progresses, the mother's emotions will become more and more complicated. Especially for new mothers, the first time they give birth, they feel both excited and nervous. On the one hand, I am worried about the various problems that may occur during delivery, and on the other hand, I want to meet my baby as soon as possible. Especially in the days approaching the delivery period, I look forward to meeting my baby as soon as possible, but I don’t know what the newborn will show. As soon as the body finds any abnormality, they rush to the hospital. After going back and forth for several times, the fetus still does not move, which makes the pregnant mother very tired. In fact, pregnant mothers don’t need to be too angry. Before the baby is born, there will be these symptoms, and now you should see a doctor to prepare for delivery.

1. Excessive secretion

For female friends who begin to secrete more and more in the late pregnancy, it is very likely caused by the upcoming birth. Generally speaking, this secretion is odorless and is less likely to cause itching. Therefore, expectant mothers at this time do not need to be too anxious, they just need to calm down and wait for other symptoms to appear.

2. Abdominal pain

Generally, about 2 weeks before delivery, pregnant women will experience irregular abdominal tightness and pain, which are uterine contractions. This type of uterine contraction usually does not exceed 30 seconds and is irregular. It can be relieved or stopped after a rest, so it is called false labor. If a pregnant woman's abdominal pain gradually increases, lasts longer, the time intervals become shorter and shorter, and the abdominal pain becomes more and more severe, it means that she is about to give birth.

3. Fetal baby's feeling of lowering

If it is the first child, pregnant women usually have this feeling 2 to 4 weeks before delivery. Pregnant women who already have babies usually don't have this feeling. When the pregnant mother feels comfortable in the upper abdomen, eats more, breathes more happily, and urinates more frequently, these are changes caused by the descent of the fetus.

4. Seeing red

When the baby is in the uterus, the cervix will secrete a lot of thick fluid to prevent external bacteria from invading the uterus. In the late pregnancy, when the baby is about to be born, the uterus begins to contract regularly, and the fluid secreted by the cervix will begin to discharge out of the body. At the same time, the uterine membrane separates from the uterine wall, and there will be a small amount of bleeding. The two mix together and discharge from the pregnant mother's vagina, which is called spotting. Showing blood is a relatively reliable sign before a pregnant woman gives birth. If you see blood, it means that the pregnant woman will give birth in the next few days and she needs to prepare.

5. Broken water

The amniotic membrane is a fluid-filled sac surrounding the fetus. During the delivery period, the amniotic membrane may rupture at any time, causing the fluid in the sac to suddenly burst out. However, since the baby's head has already entered the pelvis, blocking its outflow, you will often see fluid dripping out.

When an expectant mother notices that the amniotic membrane has ruptured, she should immediately call the hospital clinic or midwife. Even if there are no obvious uterine contractions, you still need to see a doctor because there is a risk of infection after the amniotic membrane ruptures.
