1. Endometrial recovery: A new layer of endometrium will grow after giving birth, usually within ten days. However, if you want the endometrium to recover completely, it will take six to eight weeks after giving birth.

2. Closure of the cervix: The cervix becomes very thin during childbirth, and will also have symptoms such as congestion, looseness, and even edema. It will be in a completely closed state about 20 to 28 days after childbirth, and the size of the cervix will return to a normal size.

3. The uterus returns to its normal size: It usually takes about 42 days for the uterus to return to its normal size after giving birth. However, in order to avoid poor recovery of the uterus, you need to go to the hospital for a gynecological examination six weeks after giving birth to determine whether the uterus has recovered to a normal state.

4. The lochia is clear: Lochia will be discharged after giving birth. When the lochia is clear, it means that the uterus has recovered. Generally speaking, bloody lochia, serous lochia and white lochia will be discharged in turn after giving birth. It will stop about four to six weeks after delivery, and the uterus will be in a normal state at this time.

5. Descent of the uterus: After giving birth, the uterus will begin to contract and the uterine body will descend to the navel. As time goes by, the uterus will descend lower and lower and become smaller and smaller. By six weeks, the uterine body will return to its normal size.
