Breast nodule grade 4a

Breast nodule grade 4a

Every woman needs to pay attention to the problem of breast nodules, because generally speaking, breast nodules are a breast disease with a higher cancer rate than breast hyperplasia. If breast nodules are not treated in time, they may develop into breast cancer. The severity of breast nodules in each patient is different, so there are different pathological classifications of breast nodules in medicine. So what does it mean to have breast nodule grade 4a?

There are many grades of breast nodules. In clinical practice, they are currently differentiated through breast ultrasound, breast mammography, and magnetic resonance imaging. According to the breast BI-RADS grading standard, breast nodules are divided into 6 grades, of which grade 4 is divided into three subgrades: A, B, and C. In terms of the positive predictive value for breast cancer, category 4A considers the possibility of malignant lesions, but the risk of progression is relatively low, and category 4C indicates a high risk of breast cancer.

Breast nodule 4a is currently the level at which the risk of breast cancer begins to increase, with the chance of developing cancer being approximately 20-40%. 4a: The tumor does not have typical morphological features of breast cancer and is suspected to be malignant. It is recommended to perform a biopsy on grade 4 breast nodules. The imaging manifestations of breast nodules 4a are: asymmetric microscopic or fuzzy concave-convex contours, irregular morphology, aspect ratio greater than or equal to 1, uncertain microcalcifications, and round or oval non-cystic opacities.

Women with breast nodules must develop a good lifestyle and work and rest habits in their daily lives, get enough sleep, avoid staying up late, maintain a relaxed attitude, actively exercise, improve their own immunity, and regulate the body's endocrine disorders. Breast nodule 4a has the possibility of malignant lesions. Patients must follow the doctor's instructions for follow-up examinations to prevent further malignant changes in the disease.

What to do if breast nodule 4a

Breast nodules grade 4a should be surgically removed and pathologically examined. The most common cause is breast hyperplasia, of which 10% of patients will experience malignant transformation or atypical hyperplasia. Early surgical treatment can prevent the occurrence of malignant transformation. The cause of breast hyperplasia is related to unreasonable living habits and dietary structure in daily life, and is considered to be related to increased hormone levels in the body. In addition, be careful not to overwork and stay up late, perform appropriate physical exercise, and perform regular breast ultrasound examinations. For patients with obvious pain, you can choose oral Chinese patent medicines for conditioning. Commonly used medicines include Rupixiao Tablets, or Jiawei Xiaoyao Pills combined with Pingxiao Tablets for treatment.
