Female left chest pain

Women's breasts play a very special role and are also the part of the female body where problems are more likely to occur. Many gynecological diseases and breast diseases occur in women's breasts. When a woman experiences dull pain above the left side of her chest, there are generally two explanations. The first is that there is something wrong with the woman's chest, and the second is that there may be some kind of change in the woman's heart.

1. If you feel pain in the area that always hurts when you press it with your hands, it means that the painful area is in the chest wall, which may be caused by chest wall muscle spasm. It is caused by prolonged incorrect posture, bending over, leaning on a desk, strenuous exercise, local cold, etc., which lead to fatigue and spasm of the chest wall muscles. This disease is very common in people who work in front of computers.

2. It may also be chest pain caused by the heart. The most common is angina pectoris. The pain comes in waves and is always located in the precordial area. You cannot feel the pain by pressing the painful area with your hand.

3. It may also be a rib disease, the most common of which is costochondritis, which has physical symptoms such as local thickening, bulging, and swelling, and pain when pressed with the hand, but no redness or swelling of the skin.

4. Intercostal neuralgia: The pain is often distributed along the intercostals, and is most obvious in the mid-axillary line, beside the spine, and beside the sternum. It presents as a stabbing or burning pain, and may be aggravated by turning around, taking a deep breath, or coughing.

5. Pleuritic chest pain: The pain is mostly located in the armpit or near the armpit, often accompanied by low fever, cough, shallow and rapid breathing, etc.
