Will I have a fever during ovulation?

Regarding the conditions related to ovulation, daily life is usually very complicated. Different female friends have different reactions to ovulation. For many female friends, this causes great confusion in the physical and mental aspects. So, will the body have fever during ovulation?

Will the body get hot during ovulation?

During the ovulation period, the whole body will have a fever and the body temperature will rise. Within 24 hours, the body temperature rises by 0.3-0.6℃ or even higher. Common symptoms include decreased appetite, abundant energy, stronger sexual desire, and weaker body resistance.

Ovulation is the whole process in which the egg and the surrounding cumulus granulosa cells are discharged. Women's ovulation period is generally about 14 days before the next menstrual period. After the egg is released from the uterus and ovaries, it can survive in both fallopian tubes for 1-2 days, waiting for fertilization. The man's sperm can maintain fertilization ability in the woman's reproductive system for 2-3 days, so it is easy to get pregnant by having sex a few days before and after the egg is discharged. To be on the safe side, we call the 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, a total of 10 days within the ovulation period, the ovulation period. Since it is very easy to get pregnant during sexual intercourse during the ovulation period, the ovulation period is also called the fertile period or the dangerous period of pregnancy.

During the first three months of pregnancy, because the baby develops relatively slowly, pregnant women do not require too many nutrients and only need a slightly higher than usual nutrient supply. However, pregnant women during this period often experience pregnancy reactions, and the absorption of nutrients is affected. They must adopt a variety of methods to supplement them, such as eating more fruits and tasty, calcium-rich foods to promote appetite and supplement high-quality protein. Also pay attention to how the ingredients are cooked. In the early stages of pregnancy, it is advisable to cook some fresh and refreshing ingredients and avoid greasy meat. You can also adjust the taste of the diet according to the preferences of pregnant women to avoid picky eating.

Ultrasound detection of ovulation

At present, hospitals in China use transvaginal B-ultrasound to observe the size of the uterus and ovaries, measure the size of the eggs, and determine when ovulation occurs. The egg is generally about 2-3mm in size. It gradually expands as ovulation approaches, reaching 18mm in the two days before ovulation and expanding to more than 20mm on the day of ovulation. If the observation day happens to be the ovulation period, sometimes you can even see the rupture of the follicle on the ultrasound. It is not difficult to see that using vaginal B-ultrasound to detect ovulation is the most direct and accurate method.

First, you can use the menstrual cycle method to predict an approximate ovulation time, measure your eggs on a day close to ovulation, observe the size of the follicles, and seek guidance from your doctor. If the egg has just been produced or is still small, you can perform a color Doppler ultrasound examination every two days to monitor the growth rate of the follicle. When the egg is close to maturity, it is about 16mm in size and can be checked every day, or even twice a day, until the egg is mature.

After the follicle ruptures and releases the egg, ultrasound can detect a small amount of accumulation in the pelvis, confirming that ovulation has been successful. If you can cooperate with the basal body temperature chart, secretion viscosity detection and the method of late period pain, you can basically judge the ovulation period very accurately, so your chances of pregnancy will greatly increase.
