Can I have IVF with endometriosis?

Endometriosis is a very common disease. After it occurs, it will affect various organs of the patient. Even in vitro fertilization will be affected, which may lead to unsuccessful conception. It is better to cure the disease before conceiving or doing in vitro fertilization. This will be better for your physical health and the fetus. You should have confidence in the treatment.

The organs most commonly affected by endometriosis are: ovaries, posterior uterine wall, rectouterine pouch, cervix, rectum, peritoneum, urethra, bladder, perineum, fallopian tubes, abdominal wall, chest, arms, legs, and central nervous system. In fact, endometriosis can exist in various parts of the body except the spleen.

It is estimated that 5%-10% of women may suffer from this disease, and data show that the disease is becoming more and more serious. At a conference held by the American Institute of Child Health and Human Development in 1995, it was recognized that the incidence of this disease is 10%, of which 30%-40% have symptoms of pain. There are more Asians than Europeans. Among patients, Asian women account for 51%, while European women account for only 22%. Among infertile women, 30%-40% suffer from endometriosis. Endometriosis is not a new disease

Endometriosis generally manifests as dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia, pain during sexual intercourse, and heavy stools. Patients with endometriosis should avoid all cold foods. Before and after menstruation, you should be especially careful about eating overheated soups and dishes; eating raw or cold foods is taboo.

Endometriosis must be treated as soon as it is discovered. If treatment technology has already been completed, then pay attention to your diet in daily life. Making a reasonable combination of foods is an important part of promoting recovery.

The dietary rules for endometriosis should be mastered. Poultry, livestock, eggs, milk, and fish are generally edible. For those with qi and blood deficiency, they are more effective in replenishing qi and nourishing blood. Snails, clams, crabs and turtles are cold foods and should be eaten in moderation. Avoid eating meat that is too fatty. Cereals, beans, and potatoes can be eaten as staple foods and there is no need to avoid them.
