Will the lower body really become loose after a normal birth, affecting a proper sexual life with the couple? During a natural birth, the fetus is delivered through the vagina. Generally, the diameter of a newborn baby's head is about 10 cm, that is, the vagina needs to expand to 10 cm during delivery (the normal vaginal diameter is 2.5 cm). After the squeezing of the born baby, the vagina expands significantly, the muscles and hymen scars are completely destroyed, and the elasticity is significantly reduced.

Will vaginal relaxation affect my sex life?

If a postpartum mother feels that her vagina is too loose, she can do some exercises to improve it, such as strengthening elasticity recovery and promoting vaginal firming through some exercises.

However, there are many factors that affect sex life. In addition to physiological reasons, the psychological adjustment of both husband and wife is very important, and the husband should be considerate and tolerant of his wife. As long as you pay attention to postpartum recovery exercises, the mother's vagina can generally return to its previous level three months after delivery.

Hold urine: During the urination process, consciously hold the urine for a few seconds to interrupt urination, and then continue urinating after a short pause. Repeating this process for a period of time can increase the tension of the muscles around the vagina.

Kegel exercises: When you feel the urge to defecate, hold your stool and do kegel exercises. Repeating this exercise frequently can help train your pelvic muscles.

Contraction exercise: Lie on your back, relax your body, gently insert a finger into the vagina, then contract the vagina and clamp it for 3 seconds, then relax, and repeat several times. The time can be gradually increased.

Other exercises: When walking, consciously tighten the inner side of the big toe and perineum muscles, then relax and repeat the exercise.

Through these daily exercises, the tension of the pelvic muscles and the muscles around the vagina can be greatly improved, which helps restore the elasticity of the vagina and is helpful for sexual life. In addition to restorative exercises, postpartum mothers should also ensure that they take in essential nutrients to ensure muscle recovery.
