Leucorrhea gray tofu dregs

Leucorrhea gray tofu dregs

Whether a woman has gynecological inflammation is usually confirmed by testing her leucorrhea, because leucorrhea is the secretion of the female vagina. If there is gynecological inflammation, the leucorrhea will change. The symptoms of leucorrhea caused by each gynecological disease are different. In some cases, the leucorrhea is in the state of tofu dregs, in some cases, the leucorrhea turns gray-green. Under normal circumstances, the leucorrhea is watery. Let’s understand why leucorrhea is gray and tofu-like.

Many women will have abnormal leucorrhea, but we can determine the source of the disease based on the symptoms of the leucorrhea. For example, different forms, colors, and shapes of leucorrhea can be used as criteria for judgment.

Cases of brown, tofu-like leucorrhea like this one are caused by candidal vaginitis. The most common symptoms of candidal infection are excessive leucorrhea, burning and itching of the vulva and vagina, exogenous dysuria, and geographic erythema of the vulva (fungal or candidal vulvovaginitis). Typical patients have curd-like or flaky leucorrhea, and the vaginal mucosa is highly red and swollen. White thrush-like plaques can be seen attached and are easily peeled off. Underneath is an eroded base of damaged mucosa, or shallow ulcers may form. In severe cases, ecchymosis may be left behind.

However, not all leucorrhea has the above typical characteristics. It can range from watery to curd-like leucorrhea. Some are completely thin and clear serous exudates, which often contain white flakes. The itching symptoms of candidal vaginitis during pregnancy are particularly severe, and may even cause restlessness, and affect work and study. The pain is abnormal, and there may also be symptoms such as frequent urination, painful urination and painful sexual intercourse. In addition, it has been found that about 10% of women and 30% of pregnant women are carriers of mold but have no clinical symptoms and are not easy to be discovered.

Brown, tofu-like leucorrhea is a sign of vaginal infection in women. You should get checked early. Both your urine and vaginal secretions should be checked to find out the pathogenic bacteria, and then you can receive symptomatic treatment. It is necessary for women to develop the habit of keeping clean in their daily lives, which will definitely add points to their physical health.

What are the causes of increased leucorrhea? The specific situation is as follows:

1. Fungal vaginitis: The leucorrhea is yellow, sticky and thin, and is in the shape of tofu dregs or curds;

2. Trichomonas vaginitis: thin pus-like, yellow, foamy, or like rice water, grayish white, and smelly;

3. Cervical erosion: When the cervix is eroded, the leucorrhea is usually yellow, sticky like pus, and odorless;

4. Endometritis: Leucorrhea will also increase, become yellow and watery, and often be accompanied by abdominal pain.

Generally speaking, leucorrhea after menstruation is odorless and the amount is not large. It varies depending on the person's stage of the menstrual cycle. For example, during the ovulation period, the secretion of the cervical endometrial glandular cells is vigorous, so the leucorrhea increases, which is very similar to thin and transparent egg white. 2-3 days before and after the menstrual period, due to pelvic congestion, vaginal secretions increase, and the leucorrhea is also more, sometimes slightly bloody. When the corpus luteum function is insufficient, there will be brown secretions after menstruation.
