Numbness in hands and feet during menopause

Numbness in hands and feet during menopause

Women in menopause are prone to bad temper and decreased immunity, so if there are women in menopause around you, we'd better be tolerant to them, otherwise it will easily lead to conflicts. Furthermore, the temper of menopausal women mainly deteriorates due to changes in hormones in the body, which will gradually improve after the menopausal period.

For women in menopause, the root cause of cervical spondylosis is the change in the body's endocrine environment caused by menopause. Due to menopause, the estrogen level in women's bodies decreases rapidly, which can induce osteoporosis and aggravate the degenerative changes of the cervical spine, thereby increasing the fragility of the cervical spine and causing cervical spondylosis under the influence of external trauma or sprain. Menopausal women experience numbness in their fingers due to compression of the nerve roots around the lesions caused by cervical spondylosis, intervertebral disc herniation, bone hyperplasia, and joint disorder between vertebrae.

We would like to remind all menopausal female friends that cervical spondylosis can cause symptoms such as numbness in the fingers, as well as soreness and discomfort in the neck and shoulder muscles, limited neck movement, radiating pain and weakness in the upper limbs, decreased sensation in the limb skin, and an inability to hold objects in the hands, and sometimes the patient may involuntarily drop objects on the ground. Some patients may also experience symptoms such as lower limb weakness, unsteady gait, numbness of both feet, and a feeling of walking on cotton.

If menopausal women find that they have numbness in their fingers, especially if accompanied by other symptoms, they must go to a regular hospital for examination as soon as possible and receive treatment as soon as the condition is clarified.

Through the introduction of the above content, I hope that women in menopause must be alert to the occurrence of cervical spondylosis and receive timely treatment to better prevent cervical spondylosis.
