Is it easy to get pregnant with one fallopian tube?

Is it easy to get pregnant with one fallopian tube?

If a woman wants to get pregnant, she must not only ensure that her ovulation is normal, but also that both fallopian tubes are healthy. But is it easy to get pregnant with only one fallopian tube? The chances of getting pregnant with only one fallopian tube are low. Although women can still get pregnant if only one fallopian tube is open, the chance of ectopic pregnancy is higher. If the other side is blocked, it is recommended to undergo treatment before deciding to have a child.

1. Can pregnancy be achieved with one fallopian tube?

Pregnancy can occur through one fallopian tube. If you have had an ectopic pregnancy before, it is recommended to have a fallopian tube hydrotubation before having a child to see if the fallopian tube is unobstructed this time. During the pregnancy preparation period, you can monitor the follicles. When the ovary on the side of the fallopian tube that retains the fallopian tube ovulates, the chances of getting pregnant during sexual intercourse are higher.

2. How to get pregnant easily if you only have one fallopian tube

I suggest you do a tubal permeability test first, and then make sure that the other side of the fallopian tube is completely unobstructed. If you then have sexual intercourse during the ovulation period, the chances of pregnancy are very high.

1. Calculation method of ovulation period

1. Observe cervical mucus

After the menstruation is over, the cervical mucus is often thick and less in quantity, or even no mucus, which is called the "dry period", indicating a non-ovulation period. In the middle of the menstrual cycle, with the change of endocrine, the mucus increases and becomes thinner, and the vaginal secretions increase, which is called the "wet period". Near the ovulation period, the mucus becomes clear, smooth and elastic, like egg white, with high stringiness and not easy to break. The last day of this mucus is ±48 hours, which is the ovulation day. Therefore, when the vagina feels moist, it is the ovulation period, also known as the "easy pregnancy period". If you plan to conceive, you should choose the "wet period" before the ovulation period.

2. Measure basal body temperature

Women's basal body temperature changes periodically. The increase in basal body temperature after ovulation can indicate that ovulation has occurred. Ovulation generally occurs in the process of rising from low to high before the basal body temperature rises. The three days when the basal body temperature is at an elevated level are the "fertile stage". However, this method can only indicate that ovulation has occurred, but cannot predict when ovulation will occur.

It is worth noting that the basal body temperature must be measured and recorded after 6 hours of adequate sleep, before waking up and doing any activities. Any special circumstances may affect the change of basal body temperature, which should be recorded, such as sexual life the night before, recent colds, etc. It is necessary to test repeatedly and connect the points and lines with a meter. Under normal circumstances, the body temperature rises by 0.3-0.5℃ after ovulation, which is called biphasic body temperature. If there is no ovulation, the body temperature does not rise, and the body temperature is low during the whole cycle, which is called monophasic body temperature. If the menstruation is irregular or the life is irregular, such as: night shift, business trip, insomnia, mood changes, illness, etc., this method cannot be used to judge whether there is ovulation.
