When should gynecological inflammation be checked?

When should gynecological inflammation be checked?

In life, many women often feel abdominal pain during menstruation. In fact, this reason is related to the uterus of most women. Some women also experience lower body bleeding during menstruation. Therefore, in order to prevent gynecological diseases, most women will go to the hospital for examination. The more common gynecological examination is the leucorrhea examination. So when is the most appropriate time to check for gynecological inflammation?

First of all, patients must go to the hospital for examination in time after suffering from gynecological inflammation. Clinically speaking, the best time to examine gynecological inflammation is after each menstruation, because the examination at this time will not damage the endometrium or cause some bleeding or infection symptoms. Generally, it is best to do the examination about one week after the menstruation. Patients must not blindly seek medical treatment for their illness, so as not to aggravate the condition.

For female friends, the best way to prevent gynecological diseases is to go to the hospital regularly for a comprehensive check-up. Generally, it is recommended to have a check-up every six months. This is not only responsible for your own body and health, but also can prevent the occurrence of gynecological diseases in time. Therefore, only by going to a regular hospital for a timely check-up can you accurately identify the lesion and avoid blind treatment, which will bring you unnecessary losses.

In life, we must develop good habits and prevent the occurrence of gynecological diseases from the little things in life. For example, do not clean the vagina too frequently. Although cleaning the vagina is a good habit, if you clean it too frequently, it will destroy the acidic environment in the vagina and cause some inflammation. In addition, try not to use some cleansers or use sanitary pads frequently, as these can easily breed bacteria and cause gynecological diseases.

In your daily diet, try to have a scientific and reasonable diet. Don’t always eat barbecued or fried foods, and try to eat less spicy foods. Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, because they are rich in vitamins. In addition, you can also eat some coarse grains, which are all very beneficial to the body.

What are the examination methods for gynecological inflammation?

1. Vaginal secretion examination

During a gynecological examination, attention should be paid to the color, odor, and pH of vaginal discharge. Vaginal secretions were collected for pH measurement and pathogen examination. Precision pH test paper is commonly used to measure pH. The secretions are placed on two glass slides with 0.9% sodium chloride solution and 10% potassium hydroxide solution respectively. The former is used to check for Trichomonas and clue cells, and the latter is used to check for Candida.

2. White blood cell examination

(1) Gram staining of endocervical purulent secretions showed >30 neutrophils/high-power field of view.

(2) Wet mount examination of vaginal discharge showed white blood cells >10/high-power field of view.

3. Pathogen Detection

I believe everyone is familiar with the examination methods for gynecological inflammation. I hope that patients will get checked no matter when they receive treatment, so as not to waste their efforts. Patients must not rush to seek treatment because of gynecological inflammation, which leads to seeking medical treatment indiscriminately. Doing so will not only fail to cure gynecological inflammation, but will also aggravate their condition.
