As for how to prevent mastitis after weaning, you should empty the breasts completely and promptly when they feel swollen. Try to empty them completely and do not leave any fluid in the breasts to prevent the formation of a lump that may cause acute mastitis. When stopping milk production due to mastitis, you should also pay attention to consuming less soup and milk-inducing foods, so that milk secretion will gradually decrease until it stops completely.

If these side effects are feared, the first dose can be halved.

(3) Vitamin B6, take 20 tablets three times a day. The milk will be gone in about three days.

(4) Apply Glauber's salt externally. Take 1 pound of Glauber's salt and divide it into 2 homemade small cloth bags. Flatten them and apply them on both breasts. After a period of time, the Glauber's salt will harden and can be removed. Applying it 1-2 times can dramatically reduce milk supply. You can also apply cold compresses.

(5) Injections are generally not recommended. If injections are necessary, 2 mg of estradiol can be used daily for 3-5 consecutive days.

(6) Instrumental weaning: Instrumental weaning can promote the contraction of blood vessels in the breast, leading to a reduction in milk production, with good results. However, it is troublesome to go to the hospital for operation every day.
