Where are women's genitals located?

In life, there are many people who are particularly curious about people of different genders and don’t know how they are different from themselves. However, these people only exist in the minds of people who do not understand gender relations. The female genitals are generally located in the female lower body, because the female lower body is different from that of the male, and these two parts are complementary. So where are the female genitals?

1. Clitoris

Why is the clitoris said to be degenerate? The reason is that it is an embryologically homologous organ to the male penis, and in human anatomy it also has a head, body, and foreskin, and can even become engorged and erect with sexual excitement. However, it is much smaller than the male penis, is not as prominent, and does not have direct reproductive and urinary functions, so it can be said to be degenerated. From the appearance, it is a very small nodule of tissue, very similar to a penis, located at the top of the labia minora on both sides, in front and above the vaginal opening and urethral opening.

It is said to be sensitive because it is rich in sensory nerve endings and is particularly sensitive. It is the most sensitive sexual organ of women. It can become engorged and erect like the penis and is especially sensitive to touch. It can arouse more direct, rapid, and intense sexual excitement, sexual pleasure, and orgasm than other parts of the body. Compared with the G-spot, it arouses more sexual excitement and experiences in the population and is more familiar to people. In the loving relationship between husband and wife, the clitoris plays a vital role, whether it is the prelude, continuation, climax, decline or re-arousal of sexual excitement.

2. Vagina

The vagina should be accurately called the reproductive tract, because it is the place where the penis is accommodated during sexual intercourse and the place where semen is received; it is the place where the main sexual excitement is experienced during sexual life and it is also the channel for the delivery of the fetus. Under normal conditions, it is about 8-10cm long and the width is a closed potential cavity. During sexual excitement, it changes greatly and can provide a large variable space. This is because the vaginal wall is composed of three layers of tissue: the surface layer is mucous membrane, the middle layer is muscle, and the outer layer is elastic fiber tissue. There are a large number of wrinkles in the vagina, which are extremely extensible and elastic. Its upper end is wider than the lower end, the lower end opens to the vagina, and the upper end contains the cervix. It is usually like a deflated balloon with the four walls close together. When sexually excited, the inner 2/3 can expand, commonly known as "internal erection", and the outer 1/3 is clenched, also called the "orgasm platform". Its elasticity and expansion force make the combination of the penis and the vagina reach the most beautiful degree of compatibility, which is conducive to the enjoyment of sex and the injection and temporary storage of semen, and the swimming of sperm into the uterine cavity, completing the reproductive function.

During sexual excitement, the vaginal wall may secrete fluid due to the expansion of the surrounding venous plexus to lubricate the vagina, facilitating the insertion and thrusting of the penis. However, the elasticity, wrinkles and exudate of the vaginal wall are regulated by endocrine, especially estrogen. The vaginal epithelium of young girls and postmenopausal women is thin, with few wrinkles, poor elasticity, weak self-cleaning and wetting effects, and is easily traumatized and infected.

The contraction of the sphincter and uterine muscles around the vagina during orgasm can be objectively recorded, but the various accompanying experiences cannot be reflected. It can be considered that orgasm and sexual experience are a comprehensive feeling or functional manifestation of physical physiology and brain psychology, especially in women.

3. Cradle for the Fetus

The princess and the prince can be said to be the egg and the sperm, or the daughter and the son. In any case, they are well-deserved. The initial place where they gather, grow and develop is the uterus. The main function of the uterus is to nurture and nourish the fetus. After conception, the uterus is the place where the embryo implants, develops and grows. During labor, the uterus contracts to deliver the fetus and placenta.

The uterus is located in the center of the pelvic cavity, fixed by ligaments on all sides, connected to the vagina through the cervix in front, and connected to the ovaries on both sides through the fallopian tubes. It is inverted pear-shaped, with a normal volume of approximately 7.5*4.5*2.5cm. The volume of the uterine cavity is about 5 ml. It is composed of two layers of tissue. The inner layer is the endometrium, and the upper 2/3 of it may undergo periodic proliferation and exfoliation with the cyclical changes of sex hormones in the body. The exfoliated material and bleeding are menstruation. The muscular layer is very strong, extremely elastic and has strong contractility, making a huge contribution to the survival and delivery of the fetus. A lesser-known effect is that it also produces rhythmic contractions during orgasm, and the main feeling is a widespread sense of pleasure and euphoria in this area. In addition, the contraction of the uterine muscles can also promote spontaneous hemostasis, lochia discharge and uterine contraction after delivery.

The cervix is about 3 cm long in adults. It is the passage connecting the vagina and uterus, the defensive barrier of the uterus, and the first threshold for sperm to enter the uterus to complete the "marriage business". Cyclic changes in cervical mucus can create an environment that is either more favorable or less favorable for sperm passage. It is mainly composed of connective tissue, and its surface is composed of two types of epithelium, flat and squamous, so it is more susceptible to infection and tumors than the vagina. Cervical erosion has become a common and frequently occurring disease, and the cervix often becomes the site of many chronic vaginal infections, especially stubborn lesions of sexually transmitted diseases.

4. Generalized euphoria and concentrated high

There are differences in sexual responses between men and women. Compared with men, women pay more attention to emotional exchanges, gentle caresses, and intimate hugs. Many times, just the foreplay and sexual behaviors mentioned above can achieve a certain degree of excitement and satisfaction. Compared with men's orgasm experience which is directly related to ejaculation, women's orgasm once reached is more intense, longer lasting, more ecstatic, more euphoric, and more diverse than men's. The female sexual excitement process can also be artificially divided into four stages, namely the excitement phase, the continuation phase, the orgasm and the resolution phase.

The excitement period can be aroused by the body, mind, imagination, literary and artistic works, etc. The speed and degree of arousal vary greatly from person to person. The characteristics of female sexual excitement are vaginal lubrication, 2/3 expansion of the vagina, rising of the cervix and uterine body, and stretching of the labia majora. However, the clitoris has not yet experienced a true erection and has only slightly enlarged. At this time, the nipples begin to erect, the breasts enlarge and swell, erythematous papules appear first in the upper abdomen, the voluntary muscles tense, the vaginal wall expands, the tension of the abdominal wall and intercostal muscles increases, the heart rate increases, breathing speeds up, and blood pressure rises.

The duration phase is when sexual excitement increases significantly above the baseline and is maintained above a certain level. If there is stimulation, the excitement will be further enhanced. In women, this phase is longer and has greater changes. For many people, the excitement ends here because the man's ejaculation terminates sexual intercourse. During the duration of the orgasm, the outer 1/3 of the vagina becomes significantly congested, and an "orgasm platform" and "gripping effect" appear. Because of this, the size of the penis has little effect on a woman's sexiness. At this time, 2/3 of the vagina expands slightly, the uterus is lifted accordingly, and the glans and body of the clitoris retract toward the pubic symphysis. At this time, the nipples are full, the breasts continue to grow, the areola is significantly congested, the sexual blush spreads throughout the body, muscle tension increases, and even slight spasmodic contractions occur. The anal sphincter contracts voluntarily, the heart rate is about 110-175 beats/min, and the blood pressure rises by 10-60 mmHg.
