After acute gastritis, the uterus hurts

Acute gastritis caused by eating raw or cold food or due to indigestion is relatively common, and most of the symptoms are severe abdominal pain and diarrhea, so many patients choose to go to the hospital for injections. However, some women reported that they experienced severe uterine pain after receiving intravenous drip for acute gastritis. This can be said to be a complication of acute gastritis, and the pain will be quickly recovered after treatment.

1. How to treat acute gastritis

1.1 Oral gastrokinetic drugs

Patients with gastritis can always have some medicines to relieve pain or improve gastric motility. When the pain of gastritis is unbearable, they can take tablets to relieve the pain in the stomach.

1.2 Painkillers

Belladonna tablets, atropine, 654-2 and other drugs can be used. You can also apply local hot compress to the abdomen to relieve pain (not necessary for those with gastric bleeding). For patients with diarrhea and fever, antibacterial drugs such as berberine and norfloxacin can be used appropriately. It is generally not used for patients with mild conditions to avoid further irritation to the stomach.

1.3 Infusion therapy

If vomiting and diarrhea are severe and dehydration is obvious, the patient should be sent to the hospital for intravenous infusion treatment in time, and generally recover within 1 or 2 days.

2. How to relieve pain in acute gastritis

2.1. Massage acupoints

When the pain of gastritis is unbearable, you can massage some pain-relieving acupoints to relieve it, such as the Hukou point and Zhongwan point. The Hukou point is located at the base of the thumbs of both hands. Pressing this point hard has a pain-relieving effect.

Zhongwan acupoint is located in the center of the line connecting the lower part of the sternum and the navel. When the pain of gastritis is unbearable, pressing this acupoint with acupressure can effectively relieve stomach pain.

2.2. Drink more warm water

When gastritis attacks, especially acute gastroenteritis, adding a little salt to warm water and drinking it can not only warm the stomach and intestines and relieve pain, but also replenish the body's water and maintain electrolyte balance.

2.3. Hot compress on abdomen

When the pain of gastritis is unbearable, hot compress can be used to relieve the pain. Take a hot water bottle, fill it with hot water, and apply it to your abdomen. Warming your stomach and intestines can also relieve pain.

3. How to eat for acute gastritis

Patients with confirmed acute gastritis should drink more water to replenish the lost water due to excessive water loss caused by vomiting and diarrhea. It is recommended to drink sugar and salt water (warm water with a small amount of sugar and salt) to replenish water energy and sodium salt, and to facilitate the excretion of toxins.

After the condition improves, you can start with clear liquid food. It is recommended that patients drink vegetable and fruit juices with the residue removed. Vegetables should be blanched seasonal leafy vegetables, add a small amount of fruit and warm water to make juice, remove the residue and add a small amount of sugar. You can also eat rice soup, lotus root powder, pitted and peeled red dates soup, thin noodle soup and other staple foods to supplement calories, mainly salty food, the purpose is to replenish fluids and give the stomach proper rest.

After the symptoms are relieved, you can gradually increase the intake of milk, egg custard, egg soup, etc. to protect the gastric mucosa; but if accompanied by enteritis, diarrhea, abdominal distension, etc., you should try to use less gas-producing and fat-rich foods, such as milk, soy milk, sucrose, etc. Eat small meals frequently, 5-7 meals a day (every 2 hours), 300 ml per meal, to reduce the burden on the stomach.

Diet therapy for acute gastritis

1. Osmanthus Heart Porridge

50 grams of polished japonica rice, 2 grams of osmanthus heart, and 2 grams of Poria cocos. Wash the japonica rice. Put osmanthus heart and poria cocos into the pot, add appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for 20 minutes over low heat, filter the residue and keep the juice. Put the japonica rice and soup into the pot, add appropriate amount of water, boil it over high heat, then switch to low heat and cook until the rice is rotten and becomes porridge. Take once a day, before breakfast and dinner.

2. Fresh lotus root porridge

Appropriate amount of fresh lotus root, 100 grams of polished rice, and a little brown sugar. Wash the fresh lotus root, cut into thin slices, and rinse the glutinous rice. Put polished round-grained rice, lotus root slices and brown sugar into a pot, add appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer until the rice is soft and becomes porridge. Take twice a day, breakfast and dinner.

3. Orange peel porridge

25 grams of fresh orange peel and 50 grams of polished rice. First wash the fresh orange peel, cut it into pieces, and cook it together with the polished rice. Eat it after the polished rice is cooked. Take once a day, for breakfast.

4. Cinnamon Rice Porridge

1-2 grams of cinnamon powder, 100 grams of polished rice, and appropriate amount of sugar. First grind the cinnamon into fine powder; then put the polished rice and sugar into the sand, add water and cook into a thin porridge, then take 1-2 grams of cinnamon powder, add it into the porridge, switch to a low heat, and boil it, then turn off the heat when the porridge is cooked.
