Menstruation is a bit like hemorrhage

Menstruation is a bit like hemorrhage

A large number of girls will start menstruating when they are thirteen or fourteen years old, and of course there are some girls who develop earlier. Menstruation will come earlier, some people even have it at the age of eight or nine. Some girls find that their menstruation is like a hemorrhage, with a lot of blood. So let’s take a look at what you should do if your menstrual period is like heavy bleeding?

1. Functional uterine bleeding

It is caused by menstrual disorders and can occur in women during adolescence, childbearing age, and menopause. There may be no obvious lesions in their bodies, but abnormal hormone levels may cause vaginal bleeding. The menstrual cycle is regulated by the brain, so depression, anxiety or psychological trauma can cause menstrual disorders. Facing exam and work pressure, unstable life, business trips, etc. can indirectly increase menstruation.

2. Related to sex life

Sexual intercourse leads to vulvar and vaginal lacerations, which occur more often in young girls and often result in profuse bleeding. Some patients with hemorrhage are unwilling to talk about their sexual life when they go to the emergency room. However, after examination, it is found that the vaginal vault has been torn, and they admit that they were injured during sexual intercourse. In this case, surgical suture is required. Sex during pregnancy can lead to miscarriage at most, but it will not cause continuous bleeding; sex during menstruation is considered harmless in the international academic community, while domestic scholars believe that it increases the risk of uterine and pelvic infections, but it is also not related to continuous bleeding.

3. Inflammatory infection

In the case of inflammatory infection, the amount of vaginal bleeding is usually less, mostly manifested as bloodshot, but endometrial polyps caused by chronic endometrial inflammation can also cause heavy and prolonged menstrual flow.

In short, the menstrual period is a particularly vulnerable period for girls. Their immunity will decrease, their skin will deteriorate, and some girls will even suffer from dysmenorrhea and excruciating pain. All of these need to be properly adjusted. During menstruation, cold drinks and spicy foods are not allowed. Girls must be aware of this!
