Fungal infection is a relatively common form of infection, especially for women. It often causes vaginal inflammation, which can cause yellow leucorrhea, odor, itching, and often leads to irregular menstruation and changes in menstrual volume. For more serious patients, it can cause pain during sexual intercourse, urinary tract inflammation, and even affect the patient's kidney health.

The vulva and vagina are burning and itchy. The itching symptoms may be mild or severe, and may come and go. When the itching is severe, the patient may be restless and have difficulty sleeping or eating. When the inflammation is severe, urination pain and sexual intercourse pain may also occur. In addition, vulvar erythema and edema may occur, often accompanied by vulvar scratches. In severe cases, vulvar skin cracks and peeling may occur.

5. Abnormal leucorrhea

The amount of vaginal discharge increases, and it is white and sticky, curd-like or tofu-like, adhering to the inner side of the labia minora and the vaginal mucosa, and easily bleeding due to friction. About 50% of patients have a lot of watery or purulent leucorrhea without white flakes. The symptoms are not severe, and only the vulva is wet.

In addition, about 10% of women and 30% of pregnant women are carriers of mold but have no clinical symptoms.
