The causes of luteal insufficiency, four major issues should be paid attention to

Corpus luteum insufficiency refers to the failure of the corpus luteum to fully form after ovulation, resulting in insufficient secretion of progesterone, which makes the endometrium unable to be transformed in time, and is not conducive to the implantation of the fertilized egg. Failure to implant is the same as not being pregnant. Therefore, it is easy to cause infertility or habitual miscarriage.

1. Insufficient hormone secretion during the follicular phase.

Because of the imbalance in the secretion of luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone, it can lead to poor follicular development and abnormal corpus luteum formation, resulting in insufficient progesterone secretion by the corpus luteum after ovulation. The main reason may be due to a certain link in the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis and many reasons that affect the function of this axis.

2. Endometriosis and frequent miscarriages.

Women with endometriosis or too many miscarriages may cause the endometrium to release more prostaglandins, which in turn affects the function of the corpus luteum. Even if the corpus luteum function is normal, it can lead to endometrial hypoplasia and cause infertility.

3. Insufficient secretion of luteinizing hormone.

If the endometrial secretion is delayed during the luteal phase or the secretory phase is incomplete, the progesterone receptors in the endometrium may be insufficient, resulting in a poor response of the endometrium to progesterone.

4. Other systemic disease factors.

If women suffer from systemic diseases, such as hyperprolactinemia, hypothyroidism, etc., they often experience symptoms of luteal insufficiency.

Diet therapy:

1. Eat black bean and glutinous rice porridge twice a day, morning and evening. (30 grams of black beans, 60 grams of glutinous rice. Anyway, the amount of glutinous rice can be twice that of black beans).

2. Start drinking soy milk every day when your period starts.

3. After menstruation, take soy isoflavone capsules for 5 days.

5. Vitamin E is also very helpful for ovarian function. Take one 100 mg tablet per day.
