2. Classification

Good teratoma: It is often cystic, so it is also called cystic teratoma, or dermoid cyst, which is common in the uterus and ovaries. The tumor is mostly unilocular, with a granular inner cavity that is rough, uneven, and often has mass-like protrusions. Sometimes a small piece of bone, cartilage, etc. can be seen, and there are sebaceous glands, hair, and even teeth in the cyst. Under the microscope, in addition to skin tissue and skin appendages, you can also see glandular ducts covered with cubic epithelial cells, bronchial or intestinal mucosa, bones, cartilage, brain, smooth muscle, thyroid cysts and other tissues. Various tissues are basically divided and perfect, so it is called perfect teratoma. The prognosis of healthy teratomas is good, but very few of them may turn into squamous cell carcinoma. Malignant teratoma: mostly solid, more common in the male testicles than in the uterus and ovaries.

It is mainly composed of immature embryonic tissue, generally with poorly divided neuroectodermal components, so it is also called immature teratoma. This tumor often migrates, possibly to the pelvis and distant organs of the human body. Once a teratoma is diagnosed, surgical treatment is necessary if the tumor is larger than 2CM. After the abortion, you can choose laparoscopy immediately (traditional surgery is very traumatic and needs to be done after the body recovers). There are many treatments for myoma, such as conservative treatment combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine, laparoscopic surgery, ablation surgery, uterine artery embolization, surgical myomectomy, etc. The actual method to be used depends on your location, size, etc. to develop a suitable treatment plan for you. Laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery is preferred. It is also suitable for single, childless women.
