How many days after menstruation is it easy to get pregnant

In life, many couples use the safe period as a contraceptive method. The advantage of this method is that there is no need to wear condoms or oral contraceptives, which saves time and effort. The disadvantage is that if the time is not calculated well, the chance of pregnancy will become very high. Therefore, safe period contraception is a double-edged sword. Couples should think carefully about how to choose. So, on which day after menstruation is it easy to get pregnant by having sex?

Normal women of childbearing age have menstruation once a month. The period from the beginning of this menstruation to the first day of the next menstruation is called a menstrual cycle. For example, from the perspective of contraception, each menstrual cycle of a woman can be divided into the menstrual period, ovulation period and safe period. The safe period contraceptive method is a contraceptive method that calculates a period of time when conception is impossible based on the female ovulation period and the survival time of sperm and eggs in the female reproductive tract. Sexual intercourse is arranged during this period, and sexual intercourse is stopped during the ovulation period.

The rhythm method is a type of natural contraceptive method, but since there is no unified recognition/scope of natural contraceptive methods among countries, and the rhythm method is one of the relatively reliable contraceptive methods, some countries and regions directly call the rhythm method a natural contraceptive method.

Many couples use this method of contraception not only for religious reasons, but also because they have concerns about taking synthetic drugs, using chemical drugs and invasive devices. Safe period contraception is a physiological contraceptive method. Sexual life is carried out under normal conditions and satisfactory sexual pleasure can be obtained.

Safe period

The safe period corresponds to the fertile period. We all know that the first step in conception is the combination of sperm and egg to form a fertilized egg.

A woman usually releases only one egg during one menstrual cycle, and the egg's ability to conceive (i.e. survival) is only 24-48 hours after it is released from the ovary (waiting for fertilization in the fallopian tube). The lifespan of sperm in the female reproductive tract is about 2-3 days, so conception is possible if you have sexual intercourse 2-3 days before ovulation and 1-2 days after ovulation. This period is called the fertile period, also called the "dangerous period" or the conception period.

Ovarian ovulation usually occurs within 2 days before or after the 14th day of menstruation (the specific ovulation period is calculated according to the menstrual cycle), and the ovulation day is usually the few days in the middle of the two menstrual periods. It is impossible to conceive during the period when ovulation does not occur. When ovulation occurs, fertilization can only occur when it encounters sperm.

The entire period is approximately within 10 days after menstruation, and from the 20th day after menstruation to the next menstruation. The closer to the menstrual period, the greater the possibility of contraception.

In fact, since sexual intercourse is not allowed during menstruation, many scholars, including Gopla, exclude menstruation from the scope of safe period.

In short, safe period contraception is still very dangerous, because every woman's physical condition is different, and it is possible that external factors may cause ovulation to be advanced or delayed, so there may be errors in calculating the safe period, which may lead to pregnancy. Therefore, the safest approach is for men to wear condoms.
