What is the experience of having a second caesarean section like?

Pregnant women who are expecting their second child are all afraid of having a natural birth for their first child. Therefore, many pregnant women choose caesarean section. But caesarean section is also extremely unfamiliar to them. Pregnant women tend to feel insecure during pregnancy, so they ask everywhere what the experience of having a second caesarean section is like, whether it is scary, and whether it is more painful than a natural birth. Now, pregnant women, you don’t have to be nervous anymore, here is what you have always wanted to know.

My due date was July 25th, and the doctor and I made an appointment for a cesarean section at 38 weeks.

On July 11, after eating something in the morning, I started fasting for six hours before the operation. At 1:30 in the afternoon, the nurse came to insert the catheter and told me that I would soon have surgery. Because I had the experience of a caesarean section before, I was not as nervous this time as last time and waited quietly for the operating vehicle to arrive. I entered the operating room at 2 p.m., and soon after the anesthesia, I felt my feet getting hot. Then the doctor started the operation. This time, I didn't feel the doctor cutting open my belly layer by layer. When I gave birth to my first child, I could clearly feel the belly being cut open layer by layer. Then I heard the machine sucking something, probably the amniotic fluid. Then it started pressing on my stomach. To be honest, the feeling of having my stomach pressed was very uncomfortable. But when I heard the baby's first cry and felt my stomach suddenly relaxed, I had an indescribable feeling. I was very happy, excited, and wanted to cry. The doctor told me that it was a girl, and I was extremely excited again because my first child was a son and I had always wanted a daughter, and finally my wish came true!

What followed was a long period of stitching. Because it was my second child, the stitching took longer. My mother said that it took a full hour from the time the baby left the operating room to the time I left the operating room. After the operation, painful contractions began. I had read online that it would be more painful than the first time, and it was true. I couldn't sleep all night because of the pain, and even moaned. The pain was better on the second day, but the nurse urged me to pass the gas and asked me to turn over more often. However, the wound hurt, and I tried to turn over, but still couldn't feel the gas. I was so anxious. My husband made me carrot soup in the evening, which was surprisingly effective. I finally passed the gas in the early morning of the third day, which made me feel so relieved. But on the third day, something happened again. My milk was swollen, and I couldn't sleep all night again. I hired a lactation consultant to do my milk release. She covered my milk with a hot towel, and pinched and squeezed it. It hurt so much that I cried. . On the fourth day, I had diarrhea, probably because I drank some black fish soup. My stomach had not yet adapted to greasy food. My body was obviously much weaker after the diarrhea. But the magical thing was that after the diarrhea, the low fever that had lasted for three days was gone. It was a blessing in disguise. Because I didn’t have a fever, the doctor arranged for me to be discharged on the fifth day. This is my cesarean section experience. The entire hospitalization process was painful but happy because of my baby daughter!

The above is the personal experience of a mother who had a caesarean section. You should have all seen what the experience of having a second caesarean section was like. Do you also feel that being a mother is really not easy? A mother has to go through so much pain before she can give birth to a child. However, mothers who are still expecting their baby may be mentally prepared after seeing this. They will not be so scared next time they go there.
