Symptoms of female vaginitis

Symptoms of female vaginitis

Generally, women will have gynecological diseases of varying degrees. Among them, vaginitis is one of the most common diseases. Why do women suffer from this disease? Most of the reasons are that many people do not pay much attention when they first start to have symptoms, and over time it becomes a serious disease. So what are the symptoms of female vaginitis? What should we do when we encounter these situations? Let us understand it together, I hope everyone can understand it.

1. Symptoms of candidal vaginitis

Symptoms: vulvar itching, vulvar and vaginal burning pain, increased leucorrhea with a bean curd-like appearance, sometimes accompanied by frequent urination, frequent urination, dysuria, and dyspareunia. During gynecological examination, white membrane-like substances can be seen on the inner side of the labia minora and the vaginal mucosa, which can be wiped off to reveal the red and swollen mucosal surface. In the acute stage, damaged erosion surfaces or superficial ulcers can be seen.

2. Symptoms of senile vaginitis

Symptoms: The main symptom is an increase in leucorrhea, which is mostly yellow watery. In severe cases, it may be purulent and have a foul odor, sometimes light bloody, and even a small amount of vaginal bleeding may occur. It is often accompanied by a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen and vagina or the vaginal skin is affected by inflammatory secretions, which may cause mild itching.

3. Symptoms of Trichomonas vaginitis

Symptoms: Increased vaginal discharge, milky white or yellow, sometimes purulent, often foamy and smelly, bloody vaginal discharge in severe cases, urinary pain, frequent urination, hematuria

4. Symptoms of bacterial vaginosis

Symptoms: Increased leucorrhea, which is grayish white, thin and foamy. The vaginal mucosa is congested, with scattered bleeding spots, itchy and burning sensation in the vulva, and a foul odor in the vulva.

It is a general term for various vaginal mucosal inflammatory diseases caused by different causes. Under normal physiological conditions, the anatomical and biochemical characteristics of vaginal tissue are sufficient to defend against the invasion of external microorganisms. If it is damaged, pathogens can take advantage of the opportunity to enter and, through various factors, cause disease. Under normal circumstances, vaginal secretions are acidic (the mucus plug in the cervical canal is alkaline), which can inhibit the activity, reproduction and ascent of pathogenic bacteria, and inflammation is generally not easy to occur. When the acidity and alkalinity of vaginal secretions change, or when special pathogens invade, an inflammatory response can be caused.

The vagina of a healthy woman has a natural defense against the invasion of pathogens. When the natural defense function of the vagina is damaged, pathogens can easily invade, causing vaginitis. Symptoms often include special itching, increased vaginal discharge, odor, burning pain and other discomforts. What is even more distressing for women is that vaginitis always recurs. The common cause of recurrence is improper medication and incomplete treatment. Generally, the treatment of vaginitis requires a certain course of treatment, and after symptoms such as itching improve, some patients no longer insist on taking medication; in addition, vaginitis must be reexamined to determine whether it is cured.

It can be seen that the symptoms of female vaginitis are still very obvious. Most women just don’t pay much attention to it in their lives, which leads to changes in the condition. Another reason for female vaginitis is lack of hygiene. This reminds us as girls to maintain good personal hygiene, take a bath and change underwear frequently in daily life. Vaginitis is not a very serious disease. Just prepare some common medicines at home. Of course, if it is serious, you still have to go to the hospital for treatment.
