2. Cervical polyps. The cervix may develop cervical polyps due to chronic inflammation. Single or multiple small pedunculated granulation tissues grow at the cervical opening, which look like bean sprouts, and the larger ones are as big as a finger. The polyps are tender and bleed when touched, so there may be bleeding after sex. This bleeding is usually bright red.

3. Cervical cancer. Bleeding after sexual intercourse is the earliest symptom. Since there are many small blood vessels in the cancerous lesions and the tissues are fragile, the capillaries will rupture and bleed after sexual intercourse. If the cancer develops further, it will be more likely to bleed.
