Women over 30 need to beware of four gynecological diseases

If you are a mature woman around 30 years old, even if you have always been healthy, happy and immune to all kinds of diseases, the probability of encountering the following minor gynecological problems is still quite high. If one day your doctor tells you that you have cervical erosion or uterine fibroids, you don't have to worry - in most cases, this is not a shadow that casts a shadow over your life, but a signpost to health.

1. Cervical erosion - 70% do not require any treatment and do not feel any discomfort

In fact, this is just an extremely common chronic cervical inflammation, and the causes are very complicated: slight damage to the cervix during sexual intercourse, mechanical friction of condoms, deep cleaning, artificial abortion, intrauterine contraceptive ring, and bacterial invasion can all cause cervical inflammation. However, most cervical erosions do not require any treatment and do not cause any discomfort. Many people discover it during a gynecological examination.

Health road signs:

Although treatment is not necessarily required, it does not mean that we should just pretend it does not exist. All we have to do is to undergo a gynecological examination every year, the most important of which is the cervical smear test.

This test is very simple and painless, but can detect more than 90% of cervical cancers, one of the most common gynecological cancers.

If the following conditions occur, it may be a sign of worsening inflammation: increased vaginal discharge; color changes from transparent to white or yellowish white, purulent or bloody; there is an odor. Bleeding during sexual intercourse may be due to worsening cervical inflammation or it may be a sign of early cervical cancer. Don't take it lightly! Once these symptoms appear, you should make an appointment with a gynecologist for examination and treatment.

Cervical erosion usually does not affect pregnancy and fertility. However, for some people, the condition may worsen slightly due to hormonal changes after pregnancy, but it has basically no effect on the fetus. It should be noted that there is a type of virus called "human papillomavirus (HPV)", which is particularly prone to cause cervical infection and is also one of the important causes of cervical cancer. This virus can be transmitted through sexual intercourse. Therefore, if you start sexual intercourse at an early age or have more than two sexual partners, your risk of cervical cancer will increase greatly, so you should pay special attention to regular check-ups.

2. Chronic adnexitis - very common and hidden

It is a very common but hidden gynecological disease. Generally, there is no special feeling. Some people will have mild lower abdominal pain accompanied by an increase in leucorrhea that is not easy to detect. Most are discovered during gynecological examinations.

There are many reasons:

Childbirth, frequent sexual intercourse, recurrent vaginitis, miscarriage, and genital surgery, etc. This is definitely not a serious disease, but if adnexitis recurs, even if it is not too serious, it may cause blockage of the fallopian tubes and subsequent infertility. As for who will be affected by this possibility? It is something that even doctors cannot predict.

Health road signs:

If adnexitis is diagnosed, don't worry. Generally, it can be completely cured after two to three courses of medication (each course lasts 10 to 20 days). Combined with physical therapy, the effect is better.

Tips for self-examination of the vulva:

"Wang" means observing vaginal secretions.

"Smell" means smelling the secretions, menstrual blood or the odor emitted from the vulva.

"Touch", the normal feeling should be smooth and soft.

3. Breast hyperplasia - one check can relieve your mind

Many times, I have encountered patients like this: they came to me in panic and told me that they found a lump in their breast! "Is it breast cancer?" In fact, they can rest assured after a check-up. The vast majority of breast lumps, such as breast hyperplasia, are not harmful at all.

The most typical symptom is: breast swelling and pain begin to appear in the middle of each menstrual period, and gradually worsens, becoming most obvious before menstruation, and disappearing when menstruation comes. The more direct cause of breast hyperplasia is a too tight bra and long-term poor blood circulation in the breasts; excessive mental stress can also aggravate the condition. This is a benign lesion that may occasionally develop into breast cancer, but in very rare cases.

Health road signs:

Choose a suitable bra, fully relax your breasts when you go to bed every night, and do not use breast enhancement products easily. Traditional Chinese medicine can also help with breast hyperplasia.

A very good way is to breastfeed yourself after giving birth, and to persist for more than half a year. It not only provides the most natural and healthiest "food" for children, but also has excellent therapeutic effects on breast hyperplasia.

Perform breast self-examination one week after each menstrual period - self-examination does not mean looking for something pathological, but gradually becoming familiar with your own body and understanding how the breasts feel, so that when abnormalities occur you can quickly identify them and go to the hospital for examination in time.

4. Uterine fibroids: 2/3 will be safe for life

This is the most common benign gynecological tumor, and its incidence is surprisingly high: about one-third of adult women have uterine fibroids of varying sizes. Many small fibroids not only have no symptoms, but cannot even be detected during gynecological examinations. Instead, they are discovered accidentally during B-ultrasound.

About two-thirds of them will live their entire lives in peace. After menopause, the levels of estrogen and progesterone drop, and the fibroids gradually shrink and disappear. But a small number of people will experience some troubles as a result - increased menstruation, prolonged menstrual period, and even anemia in severe cases.
