When the driver is in a state of knee flexion and suffers from front-to-back violence, it is easy to cause posterior dislocation of the hip joint. In a car accident, if the driver's hip is hit from the side, it may cause central dislocation of the hip joint.

The common symptoms of hip fracture dislocation are pain, accompanied by hip joint movement disorder. Posterior dislocation often causes the affected hip to be flexed, adducted, internally rotated, and shortened. Anterior dislocation often causes the affected hip to be extended, abducted, and externally rotated. Central dislocation often causes shortened limbs. Hip dislocation is an emergency. It is recommended to use the Stimson method or Allis method for manual reduction as soon as possible after completing CT scans and clarifying the bone conditions in the emergency department. Although some patients with a thin body or large posterior wall fracture fragments can also be reduced without anesthesia, it is necessary to perform reduction under anesthesia as soon as possible. After restoring the normal alignment of the hip joint, the secondary treatment of the combined fracture problem. Hip dislocation is usually accompanied by severe local soft tissue contusion and laceration, which has a great impact on the stability of the hip joint and the blood supply of the femoral head in the later stage, and there is a risk of concurrent ischemic necrosis of the femoral head. Attention should be paid to the prevention and treatment of thrombosis-related complications during the perioperative period.
