Is your corneal thickness suitable for myopia surgery?

Is your corneal thickness suitable for myopia surgery?

Corneal thickness is one of the important indicators of laser myopia surgery.

The thickness of the cornea is innate, and the thickness of the left and right eyes may be different (the corneal thickness test needs to be measured in a professional ophthalmology institution with the help of professional equipment).

The normal corneal thickness is around 500~550μm; the thin cornea is around 450~460μm; the thick cornea is above 600um. Laser myopia surgery requires the corneal thickness to be ≥480μm.

It is recommended to conduct a comprehensive examination of the eye condition before surgery and combine various data for assessment!
