There are five surgical methods for the surgical treatment of breast cancer, including radical mastectomy, modified radical mastectomy, radical mastectomy for breast cancer, total mastectomy and radical mastectomy. So what is the whole process of breast cancer removal? 1. First, let the patient lie flat, then let the patient's upper limbs on both sides rotate 90 degrees, fix the limbs on the operating table, do not flex or extend, to prevent arm spasm, then use a soft pillow to raise the chest about 5 cm, then you need to make an incision and separate the flap for transplantation. Generally, a vertical fusiform incision from the condyle to the navel is used, but first a spindle-shaped incision line is simply introduced before disinfection with gentian violet solution, and then it is removed. 2. After separating the skin flap for transplantation, it is necessary to identify other tissues, protect the wound with a disinfectant towel, and then proceed to the next step, which is to remove the patient's pectoralis major muscle, cut the edge of the muscle fascia of the pectoralis major muscle, and then use the right hand to separate to the inside, and so on, the part of the neck muscle close to the head vein, and then save a little muscle tissue, which can protect the head vein, and then use an electric knife to slowly cut the tendon and suture the bleeding. 3. Then it is necessary to remove the pectoralis minor. First, turn the pectoralis major downward to expose the pectoralis minor. Use hemostatic forceps to start the muscle fascia at the outer edge of the pectoralis minor. Use your right hand to flex and extend the pectoralis minor. Move close to the chest muscle and then pad the back with your fingers. This can protect the axillary blood vessels. Then you can suture to activate blood circulation. Finally, dissect the iliac vein, remove the axillary lymph nodes, and remove the fat tissue. The surgical treatment for a radical mastectomy is this, but the lymph nodes in the breast still need to be drained through various methods. It collects in the lymph nodes around the axillary vein, then in the lymph nodes under and above the neck, and finally enters the thoracic duct, which can increase the cure rate of breast cancer. Pay more attention to rest after surgery. How can it happen after a mastectomy? Many people have this question: after all, even the mammary glands are gone, why do they still have breast cancer? Simply put, breast cancer starts in the breast, grows, and multiplies. Once discovered, it is usually removed surgically, followed by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and biological therapy. In short, all methods are used to try to eliminate all tumor cells. However, there are still individual cases where these treatments have no effect on a certain group of latent tumor cells, which continue to lurk secretly and then choose to erupt one day. The cause may be just a cold, a fever, or even just low immunity due to menstruation. Places where breast cancer is most likely to migrate include the tissues surrounding the breast, the lungs, the brain, and the bones. Many patients regret not returning for follow-up visits after surgery until the cancer has metastasized more severely. However, they should have known earlier that there are many medicines that can be used. How to self-check for breast cancer? After the menstrual period each month, the breast tissue is relatively loose, and if there are any abnormal lumps, they will be easier to detect. You can use your fingers to gently touch your breasts, including the area under your armpits. If you touch a hard lump, you need to go to the hospital for relevant examinations to determine whether it is breast cancer. Especially for women over 30 years old, learning to self-examine the breast is very effective. Because it will be more inconvenient to treat after the onset and metastasis, and the longer the time is delayed, the worse it will be. Therefore, discovering the onset in the early stage is the primary condition for treatment. |
