Google official data: In October 2012, Android 4.0 and above accounted for 25% of all Android systems

On October 2, 2012, the official Google Android version page was updated. From the latest data, the fragmentation trend of Android versions has begun to slow down, and systems above 4.0 have accounted for more than 25% of all systems. However, it cannot be ignored that Android 2.3 Gingerbread still accounts for more than 50%.

From the above chart, 4.0 system accounts for 23.7%, 4.1 JellyBean system accounts for 1.8%, adding up to about 25.5%. The most installed system is 2.3 Gingerbread system, accounting for 55.8%. In addition to 2.3 and 4.0, the third largest share is 2.2 Froyo system, accounting for 12.9%, followed by 2.1 Eclair, 3.0 HoneyComb, and 4.1 JellyBean.

The following chart shows the change in Android system share from April 1, 2012 to October 1, 2012. Android 4.0.3 rose the fastest, while other versions did not change significantly.
