Google+ users are younger and have higher salaries than Facebook users, survey shows

The latest survey report released by market research organization comScore on August 30, 2011 showed that in July this year, there were obvious differences in the composition of search users of Google+ and Facebook. Google+ search users are younger and have higher incomes than Facebook search users.

The survey shows that people over 35 years old make up the majority of Facebook search users, while Google+ is more popular with younger users. 34.2% of users searching on Google+ are under 35 years old, while this proportion is only 24% on Facebook.

In addition to younger search users, Google+ is also more popular with high-income earners. Among Facebook search users, 22.8% have an annual salary of more than $100,000, while on Google+, the proportion is as high as 32.1%.
