What does scattered light look like when growing flowers?

Plants can be divided into positive flowers, neutral flowers, negative flowers and strong negative flowers according to their requirements for sunlight intensity. Flowers that can pass through indoor scattered light and can be grown indoors should not have too high requirements for sunlight and belong to negative and neutral flowers.

Neutral flowers that can grow normally in diffuse light indoors cannot withstand long-term direct sunlight, nor can they grow completely in the shade. Instead, they prefer to grow normally in diffuse light or in the morning and evening sun for a short period of time. Common examples include: white orchid, hibiscus, etc.

Flowers such as asparagus fern, begonia, and azalea do not have high requirements for sunlight. They only need diffuse light to carry out normal photosynthesis and maintain normal growth needs.

Is the indoor diffuse light bright or dark?

Flowers can be grown in diffused light, although the light is not very strong or sufficient. It is suitable for growing some flowers and plants that can grow well in diffused light and semi-shaded conditions. For example, spider plants and green baskets that can purify the air, as well as elegant Clivia, asparagus fern, camellia, gardenia, peony, Daphne odora, and some succulents that like semi-shaded environments can all be grown in diffused light. Ferns can also grow well in places with insufficient light.

The windows should be opened regularly for one or two hours a day for ventilation and air convection. Otherwise, the water cannot evaporate after watering, and it is easy to have poor ventilation when water accumulates, and the flowers and plants will have yellow leaves, fall leaves, and rot roots. Or after watering the flowers and plants, occasionally take them to the terrace or open air to ventilate and bask in the sun. They will become healthier and stronger.
