However, since HPV can be transmitted through sexual intercourse, many people always suspect that there is something wrong with their private life when they are diagnosed with HPV infection. Actually not, because in addition to the way of transmission through sexual intercourse, HPV also has other ways of transmission, that is, non-sexual transmission. Can sexual partners be infected with HPV regularly?

Regular sexual partners can also be infected with HPV because the HPV virus is ubiquitous. The HPV virus in the vulva or the virus infection in the reproductive organs can be transmitted to the female cervix through sexual intercourse. This virus can grow and multiply in the female cervix. If it persists for a long time and is not eliminated, it may cause cervical precancerous lesions. If it is not treated in time, it can easily develop into cervical cancer. Therefore, although it is transmitted through sexual intercourse, the chance of infection is definitely lower if the sexual partner is fixed, but the chance of infection is higher if the sexual intercourse is irregular. But even if you have a fixed sexual partner, you can still be infected with this virus.

What are the symptoms of HPV infection in women?

Symptom 1: Some women infected with the HPV virus will not develop the disease immediately, or even have no symptoms at all, because the incubation period of the HPV virus infection is 1-4 months. Therefore, the absence of obvious symptoms does not mean that you are not infected with the HPV virus.

Symptom 2: HPV virus likes to grow in a warm and humid environment. Therefore, the private parts of women are the most ideal environment for HPV virus infection. If you feel very uncomfortable in private parts, you can go to the hospital immediately for a physical examination to see if you are infected with the HPV virus.

Symptom 3: In the early stages of HPV infection, there are usually small, soft, wart-like papules that are light red in color. As the disease progresses, the area will gradually increase, the range will gradually expand, the wart-like papules will gradually become nipples or cauliflower-like growths, and the color will gradually turn white or reddish gray.
