Occasional pain in right breast

Occasional pain in right breast

Breast pain is a common symptom in breast surgery hospitals. If this type of pain is not combined with breast lumps and nipple bleeding, it is usually pain caused by breast hyperplasia, and it is more common before menstruation.

If the pain is not severe and does not occur frequently, medication is generally not recommended. Instead, patients are advised to adjust through their own behavior, including adjusting their mood and being less anxious and angry, relieving stress at work, eating less spicy and irritating foods, sleeping regularly, getting up early and going to bed early, and exercising appropriately. These methods can actually effectively alleviate the pain caused by breast hyperplasia.

If the patient cannot adjust herself well, and the pain gradually worsens, and the risk of breast malignancy has been ruled out through systematic examination, then appropriate medication can be used to adjust it.

1. Nonspecific costochondritis

(1) Costochondritis is usually treated with medication, such as painkillers, hot compresses, acupuncture therapy, or procaine partial blockade. Systemic or local administration of adrenal growth hormone can also help relieve symptoms. For acute symptoms, erythromycin and morphine can be taken. Give antiviral drugs such as Virulin. Growth hormones, such as prednisone or dexamethasone, may also be used. For patients with severe pain, 5 ml of lidocaine plus dexamethasone can be injected immediately, and some can be blocked with novocaine and prednisolone.

(2) If the pain cannot be relieved by long-term medication, affects the patient's mood and work, or if the malignant tumor cannot be completely removed, costal cartilage removal can be considered.

2. Infectious costochondritis

Prioritize conservative treatment, use targeted antibiotics to rationally control infection, and provide symptomatic treatment for pain. When the above methods fail, surgical treatment is required.

Sometimes pain occurs above the right breast, which is generally caused by breast hyperplasia. The pain also has triggering factors. Emotional fluctuations, fatigue or excessive stress can also cause the symptoms. It is related to the changes in female hormones in the body and is a common numbness. Mild patients do not need special treatment, but they should pay attention to daily care, maintain a positive attitude, and engage in appropriate physical competition and exercise, and the symptoms can gradually improve. Some patients are caused by costochondritis, which tends to occur in the chest area, mostly in the 2nd to 4th ribs. It is a self-limiting disease, which is more common in young people. Fatigue can also cause the symptoms to worsen. Lung CT scans are generally negative. You can choose to apply hot compresses for treatment, which can also alleviate the condition.
