How to diagnose pelvic cancer

How to diagnose pelvic cancer

If a woman's organs in the pelvis become diseased, it becomes pelvic cancer. Pelvic cancer is one of the most common tumors. The incidence rate in rural areas is higher than that in big cities, and the incidence rate in mountainous areas is higher than that in plains. Generally, women in their forties and fifties are most likely to suffer from the disease. So what causes pelvic cancer?

1. Not paying attention to hygiene during menstruation. Women are actually very prone to breeding germs when they have their periods. Therefore, you should pay more attention to hygiene at this time, clean your genitals and underwear frequently, otherwise, if infected by bacteria, it may easily cause pelvic cancer.

2. Caused by the spread of some inflammation. Many people do not get pelvic cancer immediately at first, but are caused by inflammation such as cervicitis and appendicitis. Therefore, it is best for women to receive complete treatment after the inflammation and not give the symptoms a chance to spread.

3. Bacterial infection. Many women have miscarriages for some reasons, or after giving birth, there may be bacteria in the vagina and other places. If infected, they are likely to get pelvic cancer. Therefore, after giving birth or abortion, you must do a good job of post-natal care and go to the hospital for postpartum examinations to avoid bacterial infection.

4. Postoperative infection. Some women suffer from some gynecological diseases and need surgery during the treatment process. It may be that the postoperative disinfection work is not done well, or there is some chronic inflammation of the urinary system, which leads to pelvic cancer.

How to detect pelvic cancer

The definition of pelvic cancer is not accurate. Female pelvic cancer refers to cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical adenocarcinoma, etc. It can be diagnosed through B-ultrasound examination, tumor marker testing, or MRI and other related diagnostic methods. When women suffer from cervical cancer or endometrial cancer, they may also experience changes such as irregular vaginal bleeding and an odor in their secretions. The occurrence of cervical adenocarcinoma may reveal lumps in both fallopian tubes during B-ultrasound examination, and the secretions are water-like and have a peculiar smell. Because the uterus and ovaries are located in the shallow layer of the pelvis, they cannot be discovered early. When they are discovered, there will always be sudden enlargement of the mass or cachexia such as ascites, anemia, etc. Therefore, it is best for women to have a gynecological B-ultrasound examination every year to detect pelvic diseases as soon as possible.
