It is very good to use mugwort leaves (also known as wormwood) to soak your feet. Soak for 15 to 20 minutes every day until you sweat. It is very effective in relieving dysmenorrhea.

First take 30 grams of wormwood leaves, 100 grams of ginger slices, and 100 ml of pure grain wine. Wash the mugwort leaves, cut the ginger into thick slices, put them into the pot, add appropriate amount of water and boil for 30 minutes, remove the residue and take the juice, pour it into a basin, add pure grain wine, steam and fumigate first and then soak your feet.

When soaking, the knees begin to feel cool, then the abdomen feels hot, the body sweats slightly, then the throat feels a little hot, and then the head sweats. It is the best if the head can sweat. Before soaking your feet, drink a bowl of red dates and longan soup. It is made of ordinary dates and ordinary dried longans, made into a paste, and cooked into porridge. Note that the temperature of the steaming water should be around 90°C to avoid burns. When the temperature drops to around 40°C, put your feet in the water up to the knee joints.

When soaking your feet, you can also rub the Yongquan acupoint, toes, and heels of the soles of your feet. These locations are reflex areas of the soles of your feet. Focusing on stimulating these locations can help warm the uterus, promote blood circulation, quickly relieve blood stasis, and have an analgesic effect.
