Endometrial thickening after two curettages

Endometrial thickening after two curettages

In our daily life, women usually suffer from many more diseases than men. This is because of the difference in the endocrine system. Since God has given you the right to reproduce, he must also bear the trials beyond this right. This is the law of nature. All normal women have menstruation, and we know that menstruation is caused by the regular proliferation of the uterine wall. So, what is this endometrial thickening? Let's take a look.

First of all, we should know that the uterine wall grows and sheds regularly with changes in the level of estrogen in the female body. Due to the regular changes in the uterine wall, it is histologically divided into three stages, namely the proliferative stage, the metabolic stage and the physiological stage. In the proliferative stage of the uterus, because the secretion of estrogen in the body increases significantly after menstruation, the exfoliated uterine wall will begin to proliferate and repair from the dermis, and gradually thicken to 2-3mm. At this time, the uterus has already begun to thicken, but it is only an initial manifestation.

Then, due to the continued effect of estrogen levels, it reaches the second stage, which is the metabolic stage. During this stage, the uterine wall continues to grow and even reaches 5mm. This is also the stage when the egg is discharged, so it is also the easiest stage for pregnancy. And if it continues to develop, due to the regular effect, the estrogen level drops sharply, causing the uterine wall to begin to fall off, thus causing menstruation. The uterus at this time is the most vulnerable and the most sensitive for women, and needs more care and attention from all aspects.

In general, the thickening of the uterine wall is manifested in a regular pattern, so in any case, it is a continuous cycle of repeated thickening-falling-thickening with the change of periodic time.

However, sometimes, due to the aging of women or the increase in pressure from various aspects, various functions of the human body will be affected to a certain extent, causing estrogen to no longer show regular changes, which may also cause the uterine wall to no longer show regular shedding and hyperplasia, thus causing a series of gynecological diseases. Therefore, when women reach a certain age, they must pay attention to their physical and mental health and go to the hospital for regular gynecological examinations to prevent the occurrence of diseases.
