HCG and progesterone values after implantation

After pregnancy, mothers' bodies will continue to change. Some changes in appearance are due to the continuous increase of hormone levels in pregnant women. During prenatal checkups during pregnancy, the human growth hormone of the pregnant woman will be accurately measured. If there is any abnormality, the doctor will use some therapeutic drugs for the pregnant woman. Let’s discuss with the editor below, how much is the hcg progesterone standard worth?

1. On the 6th day after fertilization, the sperm and egg combine with the trophoblast to produce and metabolize a small amount of HCG. When the embryo implants on the 7th to 8th day after fertilization, HCG can be detected in the blood, and its concentration value doubles with the increase of pregnancy weeks. Its amount is proportional to the number of trophoblasts. The secretion volume increases rapidly in the early pregnancy, reaches a peak at 8-10 weeks of pregnancy, and then rapidly decreases to 10% of the peak value within 1-2 weeks. Therefore, the author believes that it is difficult to use the results of a single HCG test to distinguish between threatened abortion and ectopic pregnancy. Patients at Beijing Tianlun Hospital need dynamic observation and close follow-up.

2. What is the standard value of HCG during pregnancy? During normal pregnancy, the blood cell HCG value is directly related to the gestational age. The HCG (IU/L) value will naturally be different in different gestational ages, and will show a positive increasing trend. For example, 0.2-1 week of pregnancy, the HCG value is 5-50; 1-2 weeks of pregnancy, the HCG value is 50-500; 2-3 weeks of pregnancy, the HCG value is 100-5000; 3-4 weeks of pregnancy, the HCG value is 500-10000; 4-5 weeks of pregnancy, the HCG value is 1000-50000; 5-6 weeks of pregnancy, the HCG value is 10000-100000; 6-8 weeks of pregnancy, the HCG value is 15000-200000; 2-3 months of pregnancy, the HCG value is 10000-100000.

3. B-ultrasound is a quick and accurate way to diagnose early pregnancy. Colorful intravaginal B-ultrasound can show the gestational sac 4 weeks after the due date of pregnancy. The initial primitive heartbeat can only be detected after 6 weeks of pregnancy, and the survival of the test tube embryo can be judged based on the presence or absence of heartbeat at 7 weeks of pregnancy.
