Many women who are preparing for pregnancy start to rush to prepare for pregnancy after their menstrual period is over. However, if you want to prepare for pregnancy scientifically, you should still calculate the ovulation period accurately. After all, it is around the ovulation period that it is easiest to "get pregnant". Many women don’t know how to calculate their ovulation period, nor do they know how many days after menstruation it is a wise choice to have sex. Today, let’s talk about it. Generally speaking, it is better to have sex 2-3 days after the end of menstruation, so that the harm to the body will be minimized. After all, the menstrual period has just ended, although the menstruation has already ended, the woman's uterus and ovaries have just ended the menstrual period, the hemorrhage period has just ended, and the body's organs also need rest and repair. So the wisest choice is not to rush to have sex within 2-3 days after the end of the menstrual period. In addition, if women want to prepare for pregnancy successfully and quickly, they should learn to calculate their ovulation period. In folklore, the seven days before and eight days after the menstrual period are called the safe period. So, if we remove the safe period, is the ovulation period the next one? Obviously not. For women with a relatively normal menstrual cycle, counting from the first day of the next menarche, the 14th day forward is her ovulation period. The 5 days before ovulation, the day of ovulation, and the 4 days after ovulation add up to about 10 days, which is her entire ovulation period. Assuming a woman with a menstrual cycle of about 28 days, calculations show that it is easier for her to get pregnant if she has sex one day after the 10th day after her menstrual period. So for women whose menstrual cycles are not so regular, how do you calculate the ovulation period? There are two basic methods: 1. Pregnancy test paper detection Women should use ovulation test strips to test seven days after the end of their menstrual period, and do it every day. If two red bars are found on the pregnancy test paper on a certain day, it means that day is the ovulation period. Women in the ovulation period have a high chance of getting pregnant. 2. Basic body temperature test Women who are preparing for pregnancy do not need to run around after waking up every morning. The first thing to do is to record their body temperature during the ovulation period. When they find that the ovulation temperature on a certain day is about 0.5℃ higher than usual, it means that they have entered the ovulation period. During the ovulation period, if they find that their body temperature suddenly drops significantly one day, then that day is the ovulation period. In addition, it is important to understand that although a woman's ovulation period lasts about ten days, the egg cells only survive in the fallopian tubes for 1-2 days after being discharged from the uterus and ovaries. During this period, the egg cells are waiting for fertilization, while the man's sperm can only remain active for 2 to 3 days in the woman's reproductive system. |
