Correct sleeping position for the first three days after transplantation

Correct sleeping position for the first three days after transplantation

The most difficult part of doing IVF is not the preparation stage or the surgery, but the process after the IVF. Because you have been diligent and persistent, you will be more nervous when it comes to the final stage. Many pregnant mothers decide to "lie down until the end" in order to protect the fetus. Is it really necessary? So what are the correct sleeping positions in the first three days after test tube transplantation?

1. Go to the hospital to rest

After the test tube transplant, the doctor will ask pregnant mothers to go to the hospital and lie in bed for about an hour before leaving. During this process, as long as pregnant mothers do not exercise too much, urinating is completely possible.

2. Back home

After returning home, if pregnant mothers regard "bed rest" as a "necessity" or even a "responsibility", it will be much more harmful than not staying in bed. Studies have shown that it is sufficient for pregnant mothers to go to the hospital to rest in bed. Even if they do not recuperate in bed at home, it will not affect the implantation of the baby's embryo.

3. Correct posture

It’s not that pregnant mothers cannot rest in bed, but the prerequisite is to master the “proper posture”. "Lying flat and not moving" is completely incorrect. Maintaining the same posture for a long time lying flat can easily cause muscle pain in the waist and other parts of the mother's body, and can also easily cause constipation problems. It is more difficult for the mother and is not helpful for the implantation of the fertilized egg. When lying in bed, you should alternate between lying on your back and sleeping on your side. When changing positions, just move at a brisk pace.

4. Do some exercise

If pregnant mothers stay in bed for a long time, they need to get out of bed and move around appropriately. It is completely feasible to walk slowly back and forth in the room. If pregnant mothers feel energetic, it is also highly recommended to go out for a slow stroll. Some studies have shown that compared with reducing exercise, maintaining daily exercise and performing normal moderate-intensity exercise will increase the probability of fertilized eggs implanting.

5. Maintain your mental state

In addition to referring to various experiences, the most important thing for pregnant mothers is to understand their own body's feelings and adjust their rest methods according to the body's response. Maintain a positive attitude and do not let various methods and experiences become a burden to give full play to the actual effect of various methods. I believe that every IVF mother can pass the transplant and give birth to her own baby!
