Clear mucus in menstrual blood

Clear mucus in menstrual blood

The amount of menstrual blood during menstruation, as well as the color and texture of the blood, can also be used to determine whether a woman has related gynecological diseases. Some women have transparent mucus in their menstrual blood during menstruation, and women are more worried about this phenomenon, fearing that they have gynecological diseases. After all, many women now have gynecological diseases. So what is the reason for transparent mucus in menstrual blood?

1. If a woman's menstrual blood is mixed with a large amount of white mucus during her menstrual period, this must be viewed comprehensively. If this mucus lasts for a long time, or even throughout the entire menstrual cycle, then it should be taken seriously. If the mucus does not last long, only lasting 3-4 days, or even shorter, and the amount of mucus secreted is not particularly large, this is a normal phenomenon and there is no need to be too nervous.

2. The reason why we have menstruation is because of the shedding of the endometrium. A large amount of endometrium shedding causes the secretion of red menstrual blood in the vagina. If the endometrium shedding is incomplete, white mucus will also be secreted in the vagina. This mucus is very similar to normal vaginal secretions and can cause confusion. Therefore, if a small amount of transparent mucus is secreted, this is a very normal phenomenon.

3. The cervix also secretes a certain amount of mucus every month. The mucus at the cervix is mainly used to devour bacteria and can also make the environment in the uterine cavity healthier. Therefore, during menstruation, the cervix will also secrete some mucus to prevent bacteria from entering. The cervical mucus will appear sticky white in appearance, and it will mix with menstrual blood and make women feel very nervous. This is a normal phenomenon.

During menstruation, you should always pay attention to keeping yourself warm, and also pay attention to blood supplementation. Because women will have many menstruations in their lives, and each time they have a menstrual period, they will lose a lot of iron. Therefore, proper iron and blood supplementation is also an essential core of women's health care.
