Why do I have backache but no menstruation?

Many female friends feel back pain in their lives, and they will predict that their menstruation will not come soon. But sometimes they have back pain and their menstruation has not come yet, so they will wonder if they have menstrual disorder. In fact, lower back pain does not mean that menstruation is coming soon. It may be affected by psychological factors. Just keep a relaxed attitude and maintain a reasonable eating habit.

1. Influenced by psychological factors

A large part of dysmenorrhea is mainly related to psychological factors. For example, people say that you should not drink cold water, do not be nervous, and have a good rest. The purpose is to relax your mind. Because women have two axes of development throughout their lives. The vertical axis is the ovaries, uterus, pituitary gland, etc., the support of the uterus and the other is the central nervous system. Therefore, your mental stress or physical exercise will cause changes in your mental environment.

2. Primary dysmenorrhea

The latter situation is called membranous dysmenorrhea because of the narrow cervix, poor uterine development or large pieces of endometrium in the menstrual blood. Sometimes menstrual blood contains blood clots, which can also cause lower abdominal pain. The causes of secondary dysmenorrhea are mostly caused by diseases, such as endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, pelvic congestion, etc. In recent years, it has been discovered that increased synthesis of prostaglandins in the endometrium can also cause dysmenorrhea. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the cause of dysmenorrhea through examination and then treat it accordingly.

3. Bad living habits

Pain in the lumbar or lower abdominal region, or aggravated by prolonged standing, overwork, sexual intercourse, or premenstrual period, which may affect work in severe cases. Or there may be increased leucorrhea, menstrual disorders, heavy menstrual blood flow, dysmenorrhea, sexual discomfort; fallopian tube obstruction, infertility, etc. Over time, there may be physical weakness, great mental stress, and often combined with neurasthenia. It is recommended that you go to a regular hospital for examination in time and receive symptomatic treatment under the guidance of a doctor to avoid delaying the disease.

4. Uterine abnormalities

Generally speaking, if a woman's menstruation is delayed for more than 3 days, she should pay attention, especially if she also has lower abdominal distension and pain, because lower abdominal distension and pain are often symptoms of gynecological diseases. Gynecological diseases such as pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, etc. can cause lower abdominal distension and pain, abnormal leucorrhea, and irregular vaginal bleeding. Many patients do not pay attention to lower abdominal pain before and after menstruation, so doctors recommend going to the hospital for examination to avoid menstrual disorders and lower abdominal pain caused by uterine diseases.

5/Pregnancy test

When menstruation does not come, we first need to test whether we are pregnant. If the absence of menstruation is caused by pregnancy, then there is no need to worry, because this is a normal phenomenon after pregnancy. You can choose to test pregnancy yourself using a pregnancy test stick or early pregnancy test paper, or you can go to the hospital for an ultrasound or other method to test pregnancy.
