The nine-valent vaccine is still a bit painful. The appropriate age for the nine-valent HPV vaccine is 16 to 26 years old. Moreover, if you avoid your menstrual period when getting the vaccine, or if you have a fever or a cold, it is not recommended to get the vaccine.
